"I know it's last minute, but you guys have a 5 am flight to Hawaii tomorrow. You are going to remix The Call and Not For Me." a man read off a sheet of paper.
They all nodded and headed out to their cars. When they were about to leave, Nick stopped AJ.
"You ok?" he asked.
"Uh, yeah, Gabby told me she kissed another guy tonight." AJ said.
Nick felt bad, he could tell AJ was really heartbroken.
"Sorry to hear that." Nick said, at a loss of anything else to say.
AJ nodded his head and got in his car. Nick drove over to the dorm a little later and snuck down the hall. He lightly tapped on the door and Gabby answered.
"Hey, is Julia in her room? I need to talk to her." Nick said.
Gabby nodded and closed the door behind Nick.
Nick tiptoed into Julia's room and closed the door behind him. He went over to the bed and kissed Julia softly. Her eyes fluttered open.
"What a nice way to wake up." she whispered.
He sat on the side of her bed.
"Listen, I am leaving to go to Hawaii, for a little over a week, later on at 5 am." Nick said.
"What?!" Julia said sitting up straight in her bed, "Nick please don't go. No, go. I mean, I'm going to miss you a lot."
Nick laughed, "I will miss you too."
He reached in her pocket and handed her an envelope.
"Here is something, it's kind of important. You can open it after I've left." he said handing it to her.
Julia nodded and Nick noticed how sad she looked.
"I'll call you everyday, and it's only a week." he said lifting her chin.
"I know, I seem like a spoiled, selfish girlfriend. I'm sorry." she said.
"No you don't! Who wouldn't be sad I am leaving for a week?" he said with a smirk.
"Your ego is way too big." Julia said.
They heard a bedroom door open and Gabby started talking to Brooke.
"Brian and Brooke are together!" Julia whispered.
"As in a couple?"
"Yep."
"One relationship started, one ended." Nick said.
"Gab and AJ?" Julia guessed.
Nick nodded his head yes.
"I should be going." Nick said standing up.
"One minute." Julia said pulling him by the shirt, down to her face.
She kissed him lightly and drew him down so he was sitting next to her. They continued kissing for a few minutes, then Nick pulled back.
"Julia I have to-"
"I know. I will see you in a week." Julia said standing up and hugging him.
He wrapped him arms around her firmly then kissed her on the cheek good-bye.
Nick left the room and said good-bye to Gabby and Brooke. Brian called Brooke and apologized for not being able to say goodbye in person. So they said it over the phone. Gabby didn't get a call from AJ. It was 3:30am, and all three girls were wide awake watching Nick at Nite.
"So Nick came over to say goodbye?" Brooke asked.
Julia nodded, "And to give me an envelope."
"Well open it." Gabby said grumpily.
Julia went to her room and opened the envelope. Inside was a note from Nick and another small envelope. Julia read the letter and it said goodbye, and then it said to open the other envelope. She put the letter down and opened the envelope. She almost shrieked, but then she remembered how late it was. Julia rushed out to Gabby and Brooke. She held out three plane tickets for a 5 am flight.
"Girls, we are going to Hawaii!"
