"I can't decide between the chicken parm or the chicken penne." Emily said to Kevin.
"Well, I am getting the chicken penne, you can just steal some from me." Julia said just to watch Emily get nervous.
"Thanks, your too kind." Emily said with a fake smile.
When their food came, Julia looked over at Emily.
"You can ask me for some when you want it, or just take it from me when I'm not looking." Julia commented coldly.
Nick put his fork down and turned to Julia.
"I need to make a phone call, why don't you come with me?" he said.
Julia looked to Emily then got up. Nick brought her to the phone area.
"What's wrong?" Nick asked.
"That's the girl who cheated from me! She shouldn't be here." she pouted.
Nick smiled at Julia, and he put his soft lips on her for a brief moment.
"Now I feel better." she giggled.
They walked back to the table and sat down. Underneath the table, Brian put his leg against Brooke's as Nick took Julia's hand in his. After finishing dinner, Nick and Julia were going to his house, Brooke and Brian were going to Brian's house and Gabby was going over AJ's house, much to her dismay. Kevin, Emily, Howie and Angelique were going to a club.
When Gabby and AJ got to his house, he suggested they go in the pool. So they changed and got in. Gabby dunked under the water then came up near AJ. He pulled her closer and started kissing her, but she pulled back.
AJ sighed, "What's wrong? You've been out of it all night."
He wrapped his hands around her waist, but she pushed them away and moved back.
"AJ, I'm so sorry..." she began as the tears began to well up in her eyes.
AJ's face became very serious.
"For what?" he asked, afraid of the answer.
"I kissed another guy." she said looking down.
AJ didn't say anything. He got out of the pool and walked in the house. Gabby started crying as she got out of the pool. She went in the house after him. He was walking up the stairs but she grabbed his arm.
"I will do-"
"Get the hell out of here." AJ said as he walked up the stairs.
By the time Gabby reached the dorm room, she had no tears left. She just sat there on the couch, looking blankly out the window. She knew AJ had every right to act the way he did. His girlfriend cheated on him. Even if it was only a kiss, you don't do anything with anyone when your dating someone else.
Over at Brian's, Brooke said she would do his dishes since he hated doing them. It started as a harmless joke when she sprayed him with the dish sprayer, but soon it turned out into a full out water war. Brian threw a cup of water at her and she sprayed him with the dish sprayer.
"Okay! I give up!" she said loudly.
She was soaked, so was Brian.
"Do you have something I can change into?" she asked.
Brian laughed at her and brought her upstairs.
As Brian was grabbing clothes to change into, Brooke couldn't keep her eyes off his lips. As he handed her the shirt and flannel pants, she drew him into a long, sweet kiss. They kept kissing for a minute, then Brooke pulled back.
"I'm going to get changed." she said as she turned around.
She changed and went back out to the bedroom, but Brian wasn't there.
She heard "At Last" by Etta James playing downstairs. She walked down stairs to see the lights shut off with a few candles lit. Brian danced over to her and took her hand.
"Brian, this is so sweet." she said as they started dancing.
As they danced to the soft music, Brooke couldn't remember a time when she had been so happy. She leaned forward and put her lips to his ear.
"I am so happy I have you."
Brian smiled and pulled her closer, as they danced.
