"AJ!" Emma yelled back at him.
"Sorry I thought you were Nick." he replied.
"Why are you so mad at him-" she said then she saw a depressed and crying Hayley sitting on AJ's bed. She rushed over, "Sweetie, what's wrong?" Emma gushed.
If there was one thing she hated the most it was to see her best friend cry. Emma wrapped her arms around Hayley, and Hayley invited the hug.
"I hate him, I hate him so much..." Hayley said through sobs.
"What happened?" Emma asked.
"Well, I went down to the bus to surprise him that I was back. So I walk in to find him snuggling with Nicole on the couch! Asleep with his arm around her!"
Emma gaped her mouth open, "I'll be right back, I forgot something in the other room." she said lying.
She got up and walked over to Nick's hotel room and she knocked on the door. Nick was reluctant to open it, figuring it was AJ. When he opened the door Emma stood there.
"Oh Emma I am glad to see you is Hay-" was all he could say before Emma slapped him across the face.
"That is for Hayley!" she yelled as she stormed back to AJ's room.
When she got back to AJ's room, she saw AJ tucking Hayley under the blankets. He kissed her on the forehead, "Everything will be okay, Lee. Don't worry. I am going to talk to Emma outside for a few minutes, but I will lock the door so no one can come in. Okay?" he said softly.
"Okay," she replied quietly "Thank you AJ." she smiled through a tear stained face.
He smiled back at her. As he walked out of the room Emma followed him. They walked down the hall towards the elevators.
"AJ, do you know how happy you make me?" Emma said grabbing his hand and stopping him in the hall.
"I know you make me happy too" he said smiling. They shared a short sweet kiss.
"You know how sweet that is of you, what you did for Hayley?" she said complimenting him.
"Thanks. Um, Em? Where did you really go when you left the room?" he asked curiously.
"Oh nowhere important" she smiled.
When they got back to the rooms, AJ walked Emma to hers.
"Goodnight AJ" she said kissing him softly on the cheek.
"Goodnight" he said as he walked back to his room.
