"Hi Nicole." Brian said nervous.
"Are you nervous about the show?" he asked.
"Yeah, I am so worried I am going to trip or fall on my face!" she smiled.
He put his arm around her shoulders kindly, "I am sure you will be perfect!" he said.
Nicole's heart skipped a beat having Brian's arm on her shoulders.
Just then Nick and Hayley walked hand in hand into the back room.
"Hey B, Hey Nicole, What's up?" Brian jerked his arm off Nicole's shoulder, "Uh, nothing..." he spurted out.
Hayley noticed that Brian seemed like he was anxious to tell Nicole something, but Nick was oblivious. Brian looked at Hayley and she winked at him.
She stepped in front of Nick, "Hey baby, don't we have to go check on that thing?" she said, making something up in her head.
"What thing? What are you talking about?" he replied, not getting it.
"Ya know, that thing..." Hayley said trying not to be obvious.
"Hayley, I really have no clue what your talking about!" Hayley sighed at Nick's cluelessness.
"You'll see what I mean." she said as she grabbed Nick's arm to leave the room.
She made him walk in front of her and when she turned around to look at Brian, he mouthed the words thank you.
When Nick got out in the hall, he gave Hayley a look of annoyance.
"What was that?" he asked.
"Well if you weren't so clueless, you would notice Brian likes Nicole, and wanted to like talk to her alone. Not with you gawking at them!" she said.
"Really? I didn't even notice!" he said.
Hayley rolled her eyes just as the stage director came up to them.
"5 minutes till show time!" he yelled.
Hayley gave Nick a kiss on the cheek as he ran off to go get the other guys.
