Amanda had been running around the house screaming for hours when she found out.

"Oh my God!!!! What am I gonna wear??? MUM!!!!!! I NEED NEW CLOTHES!!!!! MUM!!!!!!!" she screamed.

The concert was just about to start when the Petersons walked into the arena.

"WOW!!! This is big!" Tom Peterson, the father, said in amazement.

Sarah just looked at her dad and rolled her eyes at him. They walked to their front row seats and got comfortable.

The opening act came out on stage. It was a local group called "Born Into Kaos" that Nick managed. It wasn't the same kind of music Backstreet did, but they were very good, Sarah thought.

Amanda was looking around the whole arena to see if she could see Nick before the show started. Jack had trouble sitting still. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson didn't like the music that much and were praying that the Backstreet Boys wasn't anywhere near it.

"Born Into Kaos" had just walked off the stage when the lights were turned on and music started to play...

...was heard over the speakers. From a hole in the floor on stage, five boys emerged in an explosion of fireworks as the lights were turned down low.

The show was great and the performance from each boy was fantastic. Amanda couldn't keep her eyes off Nick for even one second. Jack kept bouncing to every fast song that was sung. The parents were thrilled that the music wasn't the same as "Born Into Kaos" was playing.

Sarah was, well you can call it, amazed. She had never been to one of their concerts before but she had all the albums so she sang along with all the songs. She'd been a fan since the start in 1993 before anyone else knew about them.

Her favourite had always been Brian but now he was happily married so she could forget about him. But the last days with Howie had felt somewhat weird. He had acted in a different way than usual and she felt something, but didn't know what it was. She couldn't put her finger on it no matter how much she tried.

She was interrupted by her sister whispering something in her ear. She couldn't hear what she was saying, but Amanda was pointing towards the stage so Sarah turned her attention to the boys.

"This next song is one of my own creations and it's on the new album "Black & Blue". When I wrote it I had an old and very dear friend of mine in mind. She is here tonight, her name is Sarah Peterson and she's sitting somewere in the front row. Sarah, this one is for you and I mean every word baby!"

The music started to play and Brian begun singing.

Sarah's parents looked at her and smiled. Ever since Sarah and Howie were little babies crawling around in diapers, they had hoped for the both of them to get together and this seemed to finally be happening.

Sarah was totally in awe over what Howie had said to her. All the boys seemed to be eyeing the front row for something or someone. Kevin looked at Sarah and smiled as he turned his head to AJ and whispered something. AJ looked over the edge of his blue sunglasses and smiled at her. Then both men looked towards Brian and Nick, pointing to Sarah. All four of the boys looked at her and smiled.

"Oh I want to say this right
And it has to be tonight
Just need you to know, oh yeah.."

Brian had showed Howie were Sarah was sitting. He got of his chair and walked over to her. He jumped off the stage, took her hand and sang:

"...I don't want to live this life
I don't want to say goodbye
With you I wanna spend
The rest of my life..."

The show was over and a guard came and got the Petersons. "Sir, ma'am, kids - please follow me," the large-build man said.

The family got up and followed the man backstage. They had to show their passes before being let in backstage.

"You can have a seat in here and Mr. Dorough will be with you as soon as possible," the man said opening door to a small backstage room.

They took a seat and waited in silence. After awhile the door flung open and Nick came barging in.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Amanda started screaming when she saw who it was.

Nick looked at her and smiled.

"You must be the beautiful Amanda Peterson that Howard has told me about," he said, walking up to Amanda, taking her hand and giving it a kiss.

Amanda could hardly stand on her legs when she felt his lips on her hand. Her mother took a firm grip of her arm so she wouldn't fall to the ground.

A while later the door opened again and the rest of the boys walked in laughing. When they turned around, they saw Nick and Amanda talking very quietly and close. Jack was playing Nick's Playstation and the parents were talking about how fast their little girls were growing up. Sarah looked up when she heard the door open.

Howie stood there in the doorway looking at her with a big smile on his face. She got up and walked to stand in front of him. She threw her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.

"I love you so much Howie and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you."
