As all college students do, I go out to parties. Unfortunately, I had too much to drink one night and made one of the biggest mistake of my life. In the process I hurt my friends... This is my apology to them.
It may not seem to be,
but you are everything to me.
Always there for me
when no one else seems to be.
For what do I deserve
all the patience you reserve?
I let you in
but i still can't win.
I wanted more,
but that wasn't in store.
In a blink of an eye,
all my hopes seemed to die,
in one stupid mistake,
all my dreams did it take.
For i can not be forgiven,
what was taken can't be given
I can only apologize,
but the look in your eyes,
said it all,
I did indeed fall.
While you did deny,
your eyes didn't lie.
Now i must cope,
and only hope,
and possibly pray,
that one day,
it will be like before.
but this we can't ignore
I wish I wasn't haunted
by the past;trying not to be daunted,
What do I have to do
to get thru to you,
to show to you what you mean to me
and hope that u agree.
But i am unworthy of
your friendship or anything thereof,
No one to blame,
for dousing the flame.
Who knew that a drink,
could wash everything down the sink?
But if there's one thing,
one truth to bring,
it would be,
you are everything to me.
