“I’m sure Nick wouldn’t have a problem with it,” Madeleine joked.
Leighanne laughed. “I guess he wouldn’t, but it’s called indecent exposure. You have to have clothes on.” She sifted through the cluttered closet and suddenly, her eyes came to rest on a dress she must have passed by before. It was a casual blue flowered sundress that fell to mid-thigh, and she was sure it would look great on Madeleine.. “This dress is absolutely perfect.”
“Oh, I forgot I had that one! Let me try it on and see if it still fits.” In five minutes, Madeleine was modeling the dress for Leighanne and Brian.
“It’s beautiful!” Leighanne gasped. The dress showed off Madeleine’s tiny dancer body, and it gave people the illusion of a slightly larger chest.
“That’s not too tight or too short, is it, honey?” Brian asked his girlfriend.
“No, of course not.”
“It looks really great, Mattie,” he said sincerely. “You’ll knock Nick off his feet when he sees you in that.”
Madeleine smiled shyly. “You really think so?”
“Absolutely.”
“Hey, where am I even going?”
Brian smiled. “Sorry, sis. I can’t tell you. Nick made me swear not to. But I can tell you you’re gonna have an awesome time.”
