AJ smiled down at Kierstan from the stage and mouthed the words 'I love you'. She smiled up at him and did the same. Things were finally back to normal. The police had caught the man who had been stalking Kierstan and AJ had convinced her and Vivian to tour with the guys for a few weeks before they tried to go back to work. Both girls sat in the audience watching the show, that night replaying in Kierstan's mind....

It was now almost midnight. Everyone had been searching for Kierstan all night. AJ had gone to the park first, hoping she'd be at her spot. She always went there when something was bothering her and when she was upset. The fact that she wasn't there scared him. What if this creep had gotten to her. They had looked everywhere, and had found nothing. Finally, they all agreed to go back to the house and try and figure out some more places to check. Vivian unlocked the door and they made their way into the den. AJ walked up the stairs to Kierstan's room. Sitting down on her bed he began to cry. "Kierstan, baby, where are you?" He got up off the bed and walked over to her dresser. He picked up the small framed picture of the two of them she kept there. It was of their first Valentines Day, the first time he had told her he loved her, the first time they had made love. It was the night he knew this was the girl he would spend the rest of his life loving. "Why can't things be as simple as they were then? And why do I feel like I'm about to loose the one thing I can't live without? We can do this K, I know we can. Just please come home...to me."

AJ jumped as someone placed a delicate hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Kierstan and immediately pulled her to him. "K, where the hell have you been?"

"I had to be alone for a while and think."

"You scared me to death."

"I know. I'm sorry. But if I had told you, you just would have followed me. I needed to be by myself."

AJ shook his head, "Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?"

Kierstan began to cry and pulled away from him. "I can't live like this anymore AJ. It's killing me. I just want him, whoever he is, to either just go ahead and take me or leave me alone. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't do anything but sit and imagine what he'll do next. I just want things to go back the way they were."

He pulled her back to him and began to stroke her hair, "I know baby. Me too. Me too." They soon fell asleep on Kierstan's bed, only to be awakened by a tall man staring down at them. Kierstan woke up first, screaming when she saw a strange man in her bedroom watching the two of them sleep. Startled by the shrill scream AJ had practically jumped out of his sleep. Seeing the man he grabbed Kierstan tightly, praying this would all end quickly.

"It's time to go Kierstan. It's time for you to come with me now." He had extended his hand as if she should take it and just walk away with him.

Kierstan shook her head. "Now is not the best time to be disobedient Kierstan. We don't have much time. Now come and go with me."

'Thank God for Kevin' Kierstan thought. He had heard her scream from the next room and had immediately picked up the phone and called the police. They were already aware of the situation. Nick and Brian had gone to the station the night before when they couldn't find Kierstan and explained everything. Though it seemed like an eternity before they actually showed up it was actually only a few minutes. All the while Kevin had stood outside Kierstan's door prepared to do whatever he had to if the man tried anything before the police arrived. Luckily the worst that happened was some yelling when she had refused to leave with him. And just as he had raised his hand to smack her across the face the police pushed past Kevin into the room.

Kierstan lay sobbing into AJ's chest. He held her tightly trying to comfort her, "it's over now baby. It's all over." Still, all she could do was lay there and cry.

The man had told the police that he was Kierstan's boyfriend and that he had found her in bed with AJ. That's why he had gotten so upset and had attempted to hit her. He had convinced himself that Kierstan was his and that AJ had pulled them apart. They soon found out that even though he had only just begun to send the letters he had been watching her for years. His apartment was an entire shrine to Kierstan. Pictures of her as far as five years back were there. There had also been many pictures of AJ, all of them with red marker drawings on them. The police seemed convinced that this would be an open and shut case. And had agreed it would do her some good to get away for a while with the group. With any luck she would only have to face this man one last time when the case went to trial.

The lights came back on and the screaming came to an end. After most of the crowd had filtered out the two girls made their way backstage. "I'm going to find AJ." Vivian nodded and walked towards Brian.

AJ let the hot spray fall over him. It felt so good to have everything back the way it should be again. He had his music, the fans and most of all he had Kierstan smiling face again. Life was good.

Kierstan undressed outside the shower, smiling to herself. She pulled the curtain back, got in, and bit AJ's ear. "Hey now. I told ya about going for the ears if ya don't mean it." She smiled devilishly at him. "Oh I mean it alright." She whispered biting his ear again.

AJ pulled her to face him, "I love you, K."

"I love you too, AJ."

And then they began to kiss as if they would never again get to
