"Yo D!!!" AJ said waving his hand in front of his best friends face.

D shook his head startled, "What?" he asked dazed.

"We're in the pits of hell man, also known as TransCon parking lot." Kevin
said pulling the key out of the ignition. "Lets go."

D stared out the window at the complex. "I don't know man...I don't think I
can go in there right now."

Nick turned and stared at his friend in the backseat, "Guys D doesn't look
that great."

Kevin turned around and saw D's paleness, "Okay AJ you stay here with him,
I'll leave the air on for him...and me and Nick will go in and see if
Rok's here. Pray he never showed."

Nick got out of AJ's explorer and groaned, "Isn't that Bri's car??"

"Oh shit...let's go." Kevin said running towards the doors.


"Well well if it isn't the Backstreet Calvary." Lou said, closing his
laptop.

Kevin frowned as he and Nick walked into the office, "Where's Brian?"

"Oh yes, the psycho Backstreet Boy or shall I say former Backstreet Boy. I
think you can find him down at the police station. Maybe Hoke had the
honor of booking him." he smiled and leaned back in his chair. "So sad to
know he wasn't able to handle the pressures of breaking up."

Nick's eyes turned cold, "Shut up Lou, he never would have snapped if you
hadn't pushed him over the damn edge. You just lucky I don't come over
there..."

"And what Nick?? Hit me??" Lou shook his head, "All talk Carter, that's
really all you are unless I was a woman. Now could you two kindly leave,
I'm about to have a business meeting here any minute."

Kevin grabbed Nick's arm, "Come on Nick, don't waste your breath on this
jackass."

Lou laughed, "Glad to see you still have that southern charm Kevin."


E was leaning back in her chair with her eyes closed when suddenly the
computer beeped. She groaned as she opened her eyes, she had been so close
to a almost restful nap when that darn sound filled the air. Her eyes
widened as she read the screen and a smile formed on her face. Lou was
going down.


Ty walked into the living room, stopping as she saw E smiling to herself.
"E?? You okay over there?" Maybe she'd finally gone crazy she thought to
herself, too much research and not enough sleep.

"Oh I'm fine...great...everyone will be now."

"Why, what did you find?" Ty asked heading over and pulling over one of the
chairs.

"This right here, Lou settled that law suit with Nsync in 99."

"Uh huh I remember that. No details were given it was very hush hush."

"Yeah...but read this and tell me something isn't a little off." E said
getting to her feet. "I'm gonna grab a sandwich or something, want
anything?"

"No I'm all right." Ty said and moved closer to the computer, anxiously
reading.


David reread the names on the papers and rubbed his tired eyes, some of the
names appeared more than once but he wasn't sure if they were connected
to anyone who mattered. He stacked the paper and headed over to the
photocopier in the corner, making his own set of copies and turning the
originals back in.


Kevin walked in to the police station, Nick at his heels with AJ and Howie
bringing up the rear as he headed over to the desk. "Hi I'm looking for
Brian Littrell?" Kevin said, glancing around.

"What was he brought in for?" the desk sergent asked.

Kevin turned to the guys, "What do you think he'd be held under?"

"Disturbing the peace?" Nick offered.

"Disturbing the peace." Kevin stated, and the desk sergent typed away on
his computer.

"Ah Mr Littrell, he was brought over by the security guards. Yeah he's down
in holding, they wanted us to do a sobriety test on him...passed it
though."

"Can we see him?"

"Why not, he's free to go."


The guys went over and sat down waiting anxiously for Brian to appear.
"I'm gonna kill him, really I am." Kevin muttered.

"Kev, I don't think those are quite the words you wanna be muttering in a
police station." AJ warned.

"Right, well then I'm gonna give him a hell of a lecture...should make him
walk back to pick up his car."

"Don't overreact." D said, "I know how Lou can be...its a natural reaction
to go after him."

Brian walked through the little gate and smiled meekly at his friends, "Uh
hey fellas. Fancy meeting you here."

"Fancy having to come pick you up here." Kevin said rising to his feet.
"Lets go."

"Uh oh trouble." AJ said in a singsong voice.

Both Brian and Kevin shot him dirty looks and AJ hung back with Nick,
"Almost makes ya wish we'd taken two vehicles doesn't it?"

Nick nodded, "Really wish we did."
