What could she want? Making his way back up the driveway he thought back to that day at the airport. The day his entire world had crumbled. --I can't deal with this right now. Brian tossed the envelope and the rest of the mail on the table and got ready to go to the studio. --You got a letter from Ami? What did it say? --I don't know. I didn't open it. --Oh. Nick nodded, not sure exactly what to say. He knew basically what had happened but not the details. Brian had never discussed it with them. --Yo 'Rok? You ready to get started? Nick and Brian looked up as AJ made his way into the room. --Uh, yeah sure. Brian sat at his kitchen table for over an hour staring at the envelope. He wanted to read it, but for some reason he couldn't make him self open it. Finally, curiosity taking over, he began to open the letter. However, it wasn't much of a letter. Brian, I wasn't sure if I should send these. I just thought you might like to see her. She misses you very much. Maybe, if you like, we could arrange for you to see her. Always, Ami There were three pictures of Hailey enclosed. Two of them were of her one year birthday party. She had cake all over her face. And the other was a picture of her sleeping with the bear Brian had given her. She was even more beautiful than he remembered. He rubbed his finger over the last picture as the tears built up in his eyes. --I miss her too.
