Nick woke up the next morning before Becca. He looked down at her. God she’s beautiful, even more than before He leaned down and gently kissed her lips. Her eyes fluttered open.

“Morning Nick”

“Morning Becca”

“Let’s get dressed and go get Missy”

“Okay” they both got up and searched for their clothes.

“We’re back” Nick exclaimed as he walked into A.J's room.

“Yeah daddy!” Nick picked her up.

“So when should we expect you 2 to get married?” AJ asked slyly.

“In a few weeks I guess” Becca looked over at Nick. Nick nodded. “I’ll ask Leighanne if she wants to help today”

“Mommy! Mommy! Can I help?”

“Of course princess” Becca kissed her daughters cheek.

“Okay then, we have a show today so why don’t you girls go get dressed and do what you have to do” Nick suggested.

“We will daddy” she hopped down from his arms and ran to Brian’s room not bothering to knock. “Aunt Leighanne, will you help mommy and me help plan the wedding?”

Leighanne and Brian poked their heads out from under the covers. “Um yeah sure sweety” she laughed nervously “Just let me go get dressed”

“Otay” she bounced back out of the room.

“Did she say she was coming?”

“Yep, mommy. Her and Unky Brian were playing hide-and-seek under the covers.” Becca, Nick and AJ looked at each other and started laughing.

“We..are...so..gonna get...Rok” AJ managed to get out between laughs.

“What’s so funny?” Brian asked as he walked into the room.

“I told them you and Aunt Lei were playing hide-and-seek under the covers.” Missy replied nonchalantly.

Brian’s cheeks went red. “Oh hehe. So what’s the plan for today?”

“I wanna start planning for the wedding with Lei’s help of course”

“I’m sure she’s up for that”

“Yes I am. So Becca why don’t we get some magazines and start from there. But what kind of a wedding do you two want?”

They both shrugged their shoulders. “I guess we just want something small, just for our family”

“I need to call mom and tell her what happened!” Nick ran up from the bed.

“He will never learn” Becca and Leighanne said in unison.

“How bout we all head out now?” Leighanne suggested. Becca picked up Missy and the three left for the nearest Walgreen.

“What is it sweety?”

“Me and Becca are gonna get married”

“Oh my God! Are you serious! This is amazing!”

“I know. And just so you know Missy is okay”

“You know me too well”

“Ma, I gotta go I love you bye”

“Love you too baby, tell Becca and Missy I love them”

“I will” he hung up the phone and laid back on the bed. “Life cannot get any better” he said to no one in particular.

“Girl, you sound more excited than I am. This is my wedding!”

“Mommy can I be the fwower girl?”

“Of course baby. Are you ready to go back to the hotel?”

“Yeah, will daddy be there?”

“He has rehearsals right now but hoe bout tonight we go see daddy and all your uncles sing”

“Okay I guess”

“Well then let’s go!”

“Nick pay attention!” Fatima yelled.

“I can’t.” he whined.

“He’s too busy thinking about last night” Howie teased.

“Well if you got engaged to your long time love wouldn’t you be excited?”

“Well..I guess so”

“You did Nick!” Fatima screamed. “Oh my God! Congratulations!” She ran up to the stage and hugged him.

“Thanx” He smiled proudly. “I’m a daddy too”

“Really? Boy or girl? How old is the baby? What’s its name?”

“Missy and she’s 2 years old.”

“What!!!” Donna screamed from the back of the arena. (I know she’s gone but it worked so bear with me) “Nickolas Gene Carter!!! What is wrong with you!! You have a career! You are ruining this!!”

“So what?!? My career won’t be here when I’m old !!! My daughter and my fiancée will be!!”

“This is so irresponsible! How could you?!?”

“Donna this is my life” he explained more calmly but still fuming. “I am not irresponsible. This is the best thing in my life and you are not going to ruin this for me”

“Well I don’t care! This will not happen do you understand me?” The others had it with her.

“DONNA! You cannot control our lives!! We are human beings not machines and if Nick’s happy then we should all be here for him” Kevin’s face turned bright red.

“No! I told you guys no girlfriends but you did it anyways, so I let it go. That is the only thing I will let you guys get away with. Besides Nick, does she mean more than your career?”

“YES!! This is my daughter and my fiancée for Christ’s sake! I will not let them go for you!”

“How do you know it’s yours? She’s probably just looking to get you money you know”

“Donna, I think you’re mistaken, cos that person is you” Nick grabbed his stuff and stormed away.

“Well are you guys gonna go?” She asked angrily.

“Yes we are. Don’t expect to be here tomorrow Donna. You’re fired”

“You can’t do that Kevin”

“Yes we can” They said in unison.

“Security, take Mrs. Wright out of here” Kevin smiled evilly at her. “You lose”

“Becca are you ready?” Jane called from outside of the door.

“Yeah just nervous” She stepped out of the room. The others boys gasped.

“Daymn is Nick lucky” Kevin teased. Her dress was simple white (duh!) and strapless. Her hair was just barely curled. (I hate it when people are so dolled up so that’s why she ain’t looking like a Barbie doll)

“Are you ready?” he asked. Since Becca’s parents kicked her out she asked Kevin to give her away. He was very honored.

“Mommy you are very pretty”

“Thanx baby.” The music began “You need to go” Missy walked slowly out the door in her little lilac dress. (Hey! It’s not pink for once hehe). She swallowed the lump in her throat and linked her arm with Kevin’s. “I’m ready” Slowly they walked out. Becca glanced over at her bridesmaids, Lei, Amanda and BJ. Nick stared at her.

“Who gives this woman away?” The priest asked.

“I do” Kevin stepped away.

“They have both prepared their vows, Nick would you start?”

“Becca I knew since we were kids that I was going to marry you. You make my life complete. When I left that day I knew it was a mistake and boy was I right. I left you and my daughter and I promise to never do it again. I love you baby” He leaned over and brushed the tears from her face and placed the ring on her finger.

“Nick must you always out do me” Everyone started laughing. “Baby I love you. And yes you were wrong for leaving but I never stopped loving you. You’re my soul mate, my world along with Missy of course. I love you” she in turn put the ring on his finger.

“If anyone has a reason why they should not be married speak now of forever hold you peace”

“I do” Mandy stood at the doorway. “You little bitch took my man. Well you aren’t going to have him” She aimed the gun at her and fired. Nick jumped in front of Missy and Becca. She wasn’t hit but then she looked down. There was blood....
