Howie was woken up by Nick snickering. He was staring at AJ and Amaya sleeping on the couch. Nick looked at Howie.
"Dude! What's that in your hair? "
"What???" Howie asked alarmed. He reached up and touched his hair. His hand came down all powdery and white.
"What the he-" The phrase died in his throat, when he looked at Nick who had blue powder in his hair.
"Look" Howie said between laughs "look at you!"
With that Kevin and Brian woke up.
"EWWWWWWWWWW" said Brian
"What?" Kevin asked
"There's honey on my feet!" Then he looked at Kevin
"And you look like a snowed-in porcupine"
Then, they all looked at AJ who apparently didn't have anything done to him.
"Lets wake him up" Nick said "We deserve revenge" And Nick, assuming that AJ was the culprit behind the pranks, waved the guys over to the kitchen, where he was getting the ice tray out of the fridge. Then, gave them each a handful of ice cubes. The guys grinned back. Then, they tiptoed back to where AJ and Amaya were sleeping and threw all the ice cubes down AJ's shirt.
"Yeawwwwwwwwwww!" AJ screamed and in the process, Amaya woke up.
She looked around to see the four guys standing over AJ, and sensed that something was up then, she saw that Brian had a melting ice cube in his hand and started to laugh. Then, Alexandra, Krystel, Yve and Carla came down to see Nick, Amaya and the guys laughing and AJ trying to get something out of his shirt. The laughter was so contagious that soon, everyone was laughing. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of laughing, they flopped down on the couch and looked at each other. Then Yvette said:
"I'm gonna make pancakes... who wants how many? "
"Three" said Howie
"Four" said Brian
"Six! " shouted Nick "Maybe seven... No... can I have French toast?"
"I'm not your maid, so if you like French toast, you have to make them yourself..." Yvette replied
"I'll take four..." Kev said
"What have I gotten into...?" Yvette thought Alexandra and Krystel went to help Yvette, while Carla, Amaya and the guys stayed in the living room talking about the midnight pranks.
"Jeez... who came up with this?" Howie asked
"Well... it was Alexandra's idea but... I came up with it..." said Amaya
Nick laughed "A girl after my own heart..."
Then, Nick, Brian and Amaya went to the terrace to discuss different pranks.
"I'm gonna go help Yvette" Carla said "wanna help me set the table?" she asked Kevin
"Sure thing!" He got up and followed Carla to the kitchen.
AJ, left alone, sat down on the couch facing the terrace.
"Frack better not try anything" AJ thought "Or he'll be in big trouble..."
"Breakfast's ready" Krystel shouted
Two seconds later, Nick and Brian were heaping their plates with pancakes.
A couple of minutes later, everyone was assembled around the table.
"Everybody say grace.." Carla said
"Grace" everyone chorused and then dug into the wonderful breakfast.
They ate for a few minutes in silence.
"Yvette, these are really good!" Nick said, talking with his mouth full of pancakes.
"Thanks" she said blushing "Anytime... but please don't talk with your mouth full"
Soon the pancakes were all gone. Krystel took an apple from the fruit bowl and bit into it.
"What are your plans for today?" Krystel asked
"Well, I think we should go back to the hotel... Deborah might be getting worried, even though she was supposed to call us" Kev said
Yvette and AJ got up and started cleaning the table, while Amaya washed the plates, while Nick dried them.

"Guys! Carla's gonna take us to the hotel..." Brian shouted
"I'm leaving in 5" Carla said
"Okay" everyone shouted from the different parts of the house.
Five minutes later
"Guys! Let's go!" Kevin said
"Are you ready to go?" Carla asked
"I think that we're ready except for AJ" Nick said
"Well... Krystel's coming with us and I don't know if she's ready..."
"Krystel!" Carla shouted
"AJ!" Kev shouted
"I'm coming" Krystel shouted back
AJ didn't answer... He wanted to go to Amaya's room to talk to her before he had to leave He tapped at her door and she sounded asleep... he entered when he saw Amaya staring at the ceiling.
"Hey... how are you?" AJ asked
"I'm fine... a little sad though" Amaya replied
"What happened? Is something wrong?"
"No... it's just some problems that I'm facing right now and I really don't want to talk about them"
"Oh... ok... Do you wanna come with us to the hotel?"
"Nah, I'll probably stay here reading or something..."
"You know what?"
"What?"
"I really had a great time with you last night... I mean this morning.. dawn... whatever... I mean I've never meat a girl like you and I really like being with you..."
Amaya was surprised at this confession and couldn't dare to look at him, because she knew that if she did, she would either say something she'd regret or start crying. He touched her face and forced her to stare at his eyes... As he stared at her...
"Maya... I really really like you and I like being with you..."
"AJ.... I...."
AJ didn't let her finish when he leaned towards her... At the moment he was going to kiss her someone opened the door...
"Oops sorry to interrupt guys! " Yvette said as she saw AJ and Maya.
Amaya gave Yvette one of her killer glares... AJ was a little embarrassed and Yvette was surprised at what she saw... She left the room giving Amaya the caught-you-look ... Maya blushed.

"Coming!" he shouted from upstairs... Just then Yve came down..
"Guys... he was just saying goodbye to Maya... You have to understand "
"Understand?" Nick asked very curious.
"Nevermind" Yvette answered.

Upstairs...
"I gotta go now" AJ said
"Yeah... I'll se ya around... Maybe, we could see each other some time..."
"Bye, Maya and remember what I said..." He gave Amaya a sweet kiss on the cheek and left the room.
