Meanwhile at the mall...
"Where do we go first?" AJ asked
"What are you going to buy her?" Yvette asked
"I don't know!" AJ whined
"Well.... decide yourself! I don't have all day to spend with you... I have other things to do..."
"Oh yeah? What other things?"
"I don't plan to tell you right now..."
"Please! I trusted you..."
"No"
"Please?!?"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"I want to know to see if I can help you like you helped me because you are my friend." AJ said explaining as if she was a kindergarten girl.
"Ahh!"
"Tell me! It has something to do with Nick right?"
"Well..."
"I knew it!" AJ laughed happily.
"Now, are you happy?" said Yve a little pissed off
"No I'm not happy... I wanna know the rest!" he grinned
"You can't tell anyone... please..."
"Ok, I won't tell anyone... trust me..."
"Well... I really don't know what I'm feeling for him right now..."
"Do you want me to talk to him?"
"No! Don't you dare to talk to him! He's become one of my best friends… I don't want to ruin what I have w/ him"
"Aw! My two youngest friends are growing up..."
"Cut it out!" she said hitting his arm "Let's go somewhere..."
"Where?"
"Let's go to Gap! Amaya really likes that store!"
"Well, let's go!"
They went to Gap and didn't find anything. Then, they went to like 7 or 8 different stores... when they couldn't find anything they went to a jewelry store.

"I'm starting to get worried about them..." Amaya said
"Me too..." Nick said
"If they are together..." Kev said
"Don't even dare to say that!" Amaya replied seeming very angry.
"Are you jealous of Yve being with AJ?" Krystel asked
She just stood there silently.
Then, they heard a car pull up in the driveway. AJ and Yvette stayed in the car...
"What are we going to tell the guys?" Yve asked
"I really don't know. Probably, they will be pissed off at us, cause we didn't leave any note..." AJ said
"That's true but we have to make an excuse because I know my friends and they have creative minds..."
"Oh, we'll have my friends are like that too... "
"Um... let's tell them that we went for a drive... and that we lost track of time..."
"Are we going to leave the bags in the car?"
"Yeah... if you want, I'll distract them and you put them in my room..."
"Ok... but you have to make a very good diversion..."
"Ok... let's go... I wanna see Nick..."
"Ohh, so, you wanna see Nick?"
"Please, don't tell him what I told you.. Ok?"

They got out of the car and they headed to the door. Amaya opened.
"Long time, no see!" Amaya said
"Yeah! Sorry we didn't leave a note... but we went for a drive and we lost track of time" Yve explained
"Hey guys!" AJ said
"Hi AJ... where have you been?" asked Nick
"Yve and I went for a drive and we lost track of time."
"Why is he calling her by her nickname?" Nick thought
"We were worried about you... " Brian said
"Sorry guys" AJ said
Everyone stared at them. They didn't believe them. Amaya broke the ice.
"Yvette, can I talk to you for a sec?" Amaya said
"Yeah, let's go to the kitchen..." said Yvette
They went to the kitchen, while Yve was worried about what she was going to say.
"Shoot, what am I going to tell her? If she finds out, AJ will kill me!"
"Yve, I know you... where were you?"
"I told you that we went for a drive and that we lost track of time" Yvette said firmly
"Yvette, you're not a good liar! I know that you're lying!"
"I'm not lying... Think what you wanna think, I know you like AJ a lot and I wouldn't do anything with him, if I know you like him."
" I don't believe you."
"I don't care about AJ! He's my friend. You know I like Nick!"
