"You asshole! I knew it!" Yvette shrieked, hitting Nick on the arm, knowing that he didn't cook their dinner.
Nick laughed and grinned at her. "Hey sometimes I think that we fight more than we love each other!!"
Yvette rolled her eyes as he took her in his arms.
"I'm sorry sweetie"
"Oh well… it's the thought that counts, right?"
"Of course" he finished, kissing her on the lips.
"Te amo (I love you)" she whispered.
Nick loved it when she spoke Spanish. "I love you too" he said tickling her sides.
"Why don't you try speaking Spanish? It's not that hard"
"I'll have time for that… I have a beautiful Puerto Rican wife next to me whom I don't plan on leaving… ever" Nick replied, kissing her neck.
"Aw, well… I want our kids to learn Spanish too"
"We'll have the rest of our lives to arrange that… don't worry"
"Right" she finished, turning around completely and taking his face in her hands. She started guiding him to the bed, trying to unbutton his shirt. He was doing the same thing to her. Minutes later, they fell to the bed and they made love like there was no tomorrow.
A couple of days later, they were back in California, where they now lived. Nick had bought a house a couple of weeks before the wedding, and he made sure that Yvette felt comfortable at it; that's why he let her decorate it completely. She brought all of her things from her parents' in Puerto Rico to make herself feel at ease. It wasn't an easy step to make since she didn't spend that much time away from her family, but she knew that it was the right thing to do. She loved Nick with all her heart and she would try to spend every moment that she could with him because when they were dating, she was very serious in the fact that she didn't want to live with Nick until she got married, and that was exactly what she did. They had a long distance relationship for a couple of months but Nick spent his free time with her in Puerto Rico. Since they couldn't live without each other for long, they decided to finally get married.

3:00 pm
"We're here" Nick said, opening the door to their new house.
"Great!" Yvette grinned.
"Wanna go to the bedroom?" Nick said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Nick! Not now… you've tired me up these days"
"I'm going to check the answering machine… there are some messages left there" she finished, sitting down at the couch.
"You have 1 new message… *BEEP* Hey you guys! It's Aaron. I wanted to let you know that tomorrow we're going to celebrate my birthday at the house, so I hope you both come! You can stay cuz I'll be waiting for you. Later!"
"Why didn't he tell us that so that we could go directly to Florida instead of coming here?" Nick complained, sitting down next to Yvette.
"Maybe he decided on it last night or something"
"I don't understand him"
"Like brother, like… brother" Yvette smiled, putting her head on his chest.
"Don't compare me to him" he answered in a harsh tone.
"Honey, you can't deny him… you're the same… and don't give me the attitude"
"We're not" Nick fought back.
"At least he doesn't whine" she teased as she laughed.
Nick looked at her and rolled his eyes.
Yvette kissed him on the cheek. "I love you too"
Nick stood up from the couch, went to the kitchen and got a glass of water.
"Are we going to Florida tonight?"
"Whatever you want, Nick… I don't know" she shrugged.
"Well we should go tonight… anyway, it's Thursday and we need to be there by tomorrow"
"I know… let's do something… I'll call to the airport and get a flight for us. We'll use the same baggage we had for the cruise and we'll be in Florida by tonight or early tomorrow"
"I haven't bought Aaron a gift" Nick said.
"We'll go to the mall and get him something before we get there"
"Yes ma'am"
"Dork" she smiled.

4:30 am
"Finally" Nick sighed, putting all the suitcases down at his family's house.
"I'm so tired, Nick" Yvette answered yawning.
"Well, you got to help me get the baggage upstairs" Nick answered feeling a little cranky since he didn't sleep.
"Can't we do it tomorrow, Nick?"
"No" he answered simply.
Yvette rolled her eyes as Nick turned around from
"What? You slept the whole damn ride here… and you didn't let me sleep"
"Why didn't I let you sleep?" she inquired.
"Because… because… you snore!"
"I don't snore Nick!" she said as she shook her head.
"Yes, you do…" he said in a stern tone, taking the suitcase upstairs while making a good amount of noise in the process.
"You're going to wake your parents" she replied, entering the room a little after he entered.
"I don't care" he answered nonchalantly.
"Nick, go to sleep" she sighed, rolling her eyes.
"Why? Are you mad at me now?"
"Just, go to sleep and we'll talk tomorrow"
"Fine" he said stripping down to his boxers and putting the covers over him without giving her a good night kiss. It was the first time in the two weeks that they were married that he did that. Although, they had a couple of bickering here and there, he didn't go to bed angry with her.
Yvette shrugged off all the thoughts that were going through her head and finished getting the baggage upstairs. She put one of her night gowns on and lied on the bed, kissing Nick softly.
"It's probably one of those honeymooning fights… he'll get over it" she thought, convincing herself about what she didn't believe at all.
