As I was cleaning my room, I was interrupted by a loud banging on the door. It was a constant pounding that wouldn’t stop. Greatly annoyed, I quickly ran downstairs to find out who was at the door. I opened the door to find Nick standing there. Nick was my best friend; we’ve been friends ever since we were young. We told each other everything!

Well, almost everything; I was secretly falling for Nick and in fear of ruining our great friendship I didn’t tell him how I felt, so I kept it all bottled up inside.I took one look at Nick with his tousled blonde hair and his puppy dog eyes and I automatically knew something was wrong. "What’s the matter Nick?" I asked. He just sort of stood there without saying anything, and finally he grabbed me and hugged me real tight.
