It was a short drive to the theme park. The traffic was too bad, although it could have been worse.. much worse. We found a parking spot and walked up to the gates. She seemed excited about being here, I just hoped that she enjoys herself and I don't screw it up.

"Two tickets, please" I told the person in the booth

"Why don't I pay for these...after all you bought lunch"

“No.. no.. I'll get it.. It's my treat. I just want you to sit back and enjoy yourself"

I look at him and give him a knowing smile and thank him once we're inside the park

“Well.. what should we do first? Any requests?"

"I'll leave that up to you...you're the expert"

"Well we could start off easy and work up to scary or the opposite.."

"Ok, sure lets start off easy and save the thrills for later"

"Well, we could start with a some music and go see the blues brothers? Or we could go and see the tribute to Lucille ball.. or.."

Again, I place my hand lightly on his arm "Brian relax. i think it's really sweet that you want me to have a great time but I'm having a fantastic time just being with you"

Great, she can tell that I'm all nervous.. She's having fun? well I guess that is a plus... I just have to be myself.. and just go with the flow and have fun... I thought while smiling back at her

"Ok.. well, I think maybe we will go and party a little with some music..." guiding her towards Delaware St.

We end up leaving the park six hours later. Brian kept his word by holding on my hand on some of the roller coasters and it wasn't just the rides that sent shivers up my spine. I don't think I've ever laughed so much as we ended our visit with a Shrek honeymoon adventure. I didn't want the day to end, it had been perfect.

As we drove back towards Kissimee, the talking seemed more intermittent. I think each of us was absorbs in our own thoughts. I thought that the whole day went pretty well. I think that she really enjoyed herself, at least I would hope so. I had the best time at the park. I held her hand as we went on the roller coasters as I had promised. The feeling of her soft hand in mine sent shock waves through my veins. The way she looked me when were dressed up as Shrek and his bride and just her look as we left the park, just made feel all warm.. I couldn't believe that all this was happening.. it was like we had an instant attraction or something.. Whatever it was, i was enjoying it.

I only had one more thing planned to the day off. And I am sure that she was not expecting it. As we headed into Kissimee, I made a turn off the interstate and down the exit ramp. The roads weren't really busy and the weather was cooler but still nice. It was getting dark and the moon was coming out. Perfect... I thought.

We turn off at the interstate and I'm confused. This definitely wasn't the way home. I shoot Brian a questioning look but he just smiles back at me 15 minutes later, I pulled up into the bay parking and turned off the engine. I sat there for a second looking out into the ocean, before I turned to her

"One last surprise, I promise"

"But...but you've done so much already"

I flashed her a smile and started taking off my shoes. "You might want to take your shoes off for this..."

Intrigued and curious I did as he suggested

I couldn't wait to take her out and walk the stretch of beach to the pier... I think she might like what she sees there...

I went around and opened her door. We then proceed to walk down the the shoreline the sand was so soft and warm from the day's sun. It felt wonderful beneath my feet.

"Oh wow, Brian this is amazing" as O feel the sand beneath my feet

"Just wait..."

As we walked down the shoreline, the water lapped at our feet. The cool water rushing over my feet was such a contrast to the warmth I was starting to feel. We didn't say anything for the first few moments. Until I broke the silence.

"So, what do ya think about the big O?"

"It's a beautiful city, really amazing and i had a fantastic guide. And the ocean… "It's beautiful, so peaceful. especially with the moonlight reflecting off the water"

Flashing her smile " Yeah, its great, but its nothing like home. of course I've kinda made this my home away from home. Yeah, the ocean adds a serenity to the place that you don't get everywhere else. You can just come and down here and everything seems to disappear.

I return his smile "Thank you so much for sharing it with me. It's the perfect way to end the perfect day" as I look up at the moon, there's a slight breeze which causes me to shiver

I see her shiver as the soft wind blows by. I suddenly have the urge to put my arms around her. But would she object? or would she embrace them? I decided to give it a shot

As I put my arm around her and pulled her closer, I said softly "Are you cold?"

I jump slightly as his arms wrap around me, I ca feel my heart thundering in my chest. I couldn't speak for moment then in a voice barely a whisper I say " a little"

Getting the impression that she was a little uncomfortable, I loosened my arms and pulled away a little. "Would you rather me not?"

I look up at him, slightly embarrassed. what do i say? that the touch of his arms around me made my knees weak?

"I...uhh...uhh it's ok"

Trying to read her expression, I could tell she was nervous. Lightening the mood, I relied with a joke " I promise, I won't bite"

"I trust you"

Giving her a smile, I turn back ahead and lead us down the beach towards the light house. As we approach it, I ask "have you ever been up in one of these>"

"I can't say i have"

"Well then, I think we should go and have a look don't ya think?"

"Sure, why not" I say with a smile

"Just to give you fair warning.. its a little tiring but the end result is just so much more"

"Lets do it then"

Grabbing her hand, we started on the tedious journey up the stairs to the top. At some point we stopped to catch our breath, leaning over, "Are you okay?"

I wanted to scream. I was trembling inside "Yes...yes, I'm ok"

When we reach the top, I let out a little sigh and led her over to the balcony first. The sight was just magnificent. All you see was endless dark water with the strobe of light coming around every 10-15 seconds. The stars shown brightly in sky helping to guide the way for sailors, and for a rather nice romantic tone. I just leaned over the railing, looking out and breathing in the refreshing salt water along with the breeze that lightly blew.

Again, Brian was right. the view from up here was amazing. it was calming

"It's beautiful isn't it? Yet somehow you feel like you're on top of the world in a sense A little invincible maybe.."

"Like nothing could ever reach you"

Looking into her blue green eyes, it seemed as if we connected simultaneously. It was a kinda weird feeling, being that I've never connected that like with anyone. I suddenly had to seize the moment, be impulsive... I moved a step closer, leaned in and kissed her

I>Before I knew what was happening, Brian leaned in and kissed me. Oh wow, the touch of his lips on mine was indescribable, nothing like I'd ever experienced before, I froze reeling from this incredible sensation

Her lips were soft and warm and just as sweet as she was. I lingered for a few more moments before pulling back. My heart was suddenly beating faster as I looked back into her eyes.

As he pulls away and looks into my eyes I'm speechless. i didn't know what to say to him

"Do you, by chance, feel the connection I feel?"

"I...I...I think so...I don't think I've ever felt it before"

"Me either.." leaning in to kiss her again

This time I kissed him back, savoring the taste of him

I wasn't prepared for her response,as her lips moved with mine. I drew her in closer as I wrapped her in my arms. I could feel my knees becoming weak. This.. this was the moment. My moment. She was the one for me. I just knew it. I could feel it in my gut. This one wasn't getting away...

I tremble as he takes me in his arms, it was such an intense moment yet I was so confused. I barely knew Brian, yeah we've spent the day together so how can being in his arms make me feel so safe?

She felt so right in my arms, the prefect fit..I knew that I should probably back off, yet I still didn't want to let go. Moments later, I slowly pulled back.

"Wow.." chuckling a little. Figuring that it was getting really late as it was, Are you ready to descend?"

"I guess so, the time has flown by" i say hoping that he can't see me blushing furiously, his kisses were mind blowing

I grabbed her hand and led her back down. I was silently praying that I wouldn't fall down, because my whole body was in chaos. It took all I had to keep it all composed. As we walked back along the beach, I kept stealing glances at her, even as we were walking hand in hand. My stomach sank a little as we reached the car, as I knew that I would have to leave her soon.

"I had an amazing day, thank you so much"

"No thanks needed, I was my pleasure. I just hope it was all you were expecting”

I blush slightly and look up at him "It was so much more than i was expecting"

Giving her a smile, I close the door and walk over and get in beside her. There was some light conversation as we headed back to her house. My stomach bottomed out as I pulled up in her driveway.

"Well, here we are.."

"Yeah, thanks again" i lean over and kiss him briefly on the cheek

Totally shocked by her sudden coolness, "Uh.. you're welcome." taking a breath, not knowing what to think now.. "Hey.. I had a wonderful time tonight.. do you think we could do it again sometime soon?"

"Yeah, that would be great. I'd love to do it again sometime...I'll...I'll...umm, give you my number"

As I returned home, my mind ran over what just happened. I now realized that maybe she was still a bit nervous and maybe a little wary and that's why she was a little standoffish. I couldn't blame her I guess. We had just met and now it seemed like we were jumping in over our heads a little. But I couldn't help it. The connection that I felt with her was electric. It was like nothing I had ever experienced. I had to delve more into it. And I intend to even more now.. hoping that i had scared her off already...

I came in the door and threw my keys on the table. I grabbed a beer and headed for the bedroom. I stripped down to my shorts and got into bed. Turning the light off, I laid there thinking about the whole day I spent with her. Not long after I fell asleep with visions of her in my arms....
