It proved quite challenging to get the two drunks into the back of the car. At one point, Natalie tried to pull me into the back with her but the other guy was very sweet and helped me to fasten her seat belt. After we're all in on the road, the yahoos in the back couldn't have been louder... I was about ready to slug them. This was my chance... sitting right next to this really hot guy. And I had no idea what to say.

“Tonight has been so crazy, I forgot to get your name…”

"Oh...it's Charlie...how about you?"

"Brian.. You’re pretty good out there on the dance floor.."

"Thanks...you're not so bad yourself"

Flashing a grin, "By the way, where do you live? Do you live here in Orlando?"

"I don't actually live here, I arrived this morning, Natalie, my loud friend, lives in Kissimee. I'm staying with her"

"Ok.. That's cool. Are you staying for long? or just visiting?"

"Sadly, I'm only visiting. I'm at university in California""

"Oh, you go to school... what are you studying?"

"English Lit, you sound surprised"

" You just look older that's all..."

"A lot of people say that, it has its advantages and disadvantages"

"I guess so.. I don't want to intrude on your time with your friend, but would u like to come and hang out with me and see some of the city sometime?" Just as I was about to answer, I heard snoring coming from the back.

“Oh wow, how strange...the two drunks make the prefect couple" smiling, seeing that Natalie’s head was laying on Nick’s shoulder.

“What?”… thrown off by the change of subject.

Looking in the rear view, " Yeah, maybe now.. but wait til they sober up"

"Oh, our place is just on the right, here"

He comes to the stop and puts it park. Turning to her, half smiling.

"Well, it was great getting to know you a little more. I am looking forward to showing you around the city. Just give me a call", handing her a piece of paper.

Trying to hide my shaking hand, I take the paper from him, give him a smile and gently tap Natalie on her arm.

"Sweetie, we're home"

Helping her out of the car, I can't resist ruffling the blond guy's hair. He grunts as he opens his eyes.

"Natalie says bye" I tell him with a smirk.

As we're walking towards the house, I turn and wave to Brian. Natalie, also turns and looks at him

"Whhooos that?"

"That's Brian"

"Oh...he ish cute" and we both start giggling.

Driving away, he silently cursed under his breath. Why had she ignored my invitation? Did she have a boyfriend back home? Maybe, it was just nerves. I mean we did only just meet several hours ago. Yeah… it had to have been nerves…

Trying not to concentrate on the why’s, he turned his concentration back to driving. But thoughts of her kept intruding.

College student… a bit young but a nice catch. Little bit rebellious from the looks of it. Makes things a little more interesting… has great moves… " thinking back

"Dude, I just dreamt there were two girls in your car" interrupting Brian’s thoughts

"Uh? .. No.. You weren't dreaming, Frack.. There were girls in the car. And you being drunk, I'm sure just made a great impression"

"So, did I score with both of them?"

" You only wish.. One of them is hands off.. she's mine... The other one.. well you made a nice pillow for.. Thank god she didn’t have to endure your snoring... like the rest of us.. and just the picture of you with the mouth open was just grand.."

“Yeah well I don't think I got her number, so that's another one that got away"

" Well, maybe you'll see her again, sometime.. you never know.."
