After showering and getting dressed, I glance out of my window and see the sun shining down. There's not a cloud in the sky. With this in mind, I pick up the phone and dial Natalie's number.

I could hear a distant ringing as I slept. It seemed to be getting louder and louder. Finally, realizing it is was the phone, I limply reached over and picked up the phone. "Hello" I say in a groggy voice

"Morning, sunshine" I tease

Upon hearing his voice, I knew who is was calling. I quick smile framed my face. But god, was he up early. Didn't he believe in sleeping late? "Morning. Do you realize how early it is?"

"Oh, did you not know that once you enter a relationship, you relinquish all rights to question my time of calls? It's a gorgeous day. Why are you wasting it?"

"I guess I do now. I'm not wasting it, It's barely started and I needed the hours of sleep. So, bite me. “ with a soft giggle. “So, since I am now up, what do you suggest I do with this gorgeous day?"

"Spend it with me, unless you have another guy in your bed" I reply

"There better not be another guy in my bed. Hold on, let me see.." pausing..

"Well, you have 20 mins to get ready. Bring your bathing suit with you"

"Okay, okay. I'll be ready. See you then"

"Great" I hang up and make my way into the kitchen to decide what food to take along and then I put it in the cool box and drive over to Natalie's.

I threw back the covers and jumped into the shower. Ten mins later, I was out and getting dressed in some shorts and a cute tank top. Spraying perfume and pulling my hair up, I went to make the bed and ran back to grab a towel and sunscreen out of the linen closet. I went downstairs to grab some water and my sunglasses. By the time I was ready, Nick was pulling in the driveway.

As I opened the door, I reached for him. "Hey, baby.." giving him a kiss

"Hey, yourself" returning her kiss and wrapping my arms around her. "Ya ready?" giving her a grin

"Yeah, let’s go"

The beach was only fifteen minutes away. I found a space and parked the car. After opening the door for Natalie, I grab the cool box and slip my free hand into hers.

"Come on, lets find a place to set up. It's gonna be an amazing day"

I thought it was so sweet that he had packed a picnic for us. In a way, I couldn't believe that he had spent that much time putting it all together, It wasn't like him. But hey, I can’t complain. I loved it. As we found the perfect spot, I pulled out my towel and spread it out so we could sit. "You're right... It's gorgeous. " looking up at the cloudless, blue skies

I spread my towel out beside hers and then stripped off to my shorts. I knelt down next to her and kissed her neck.

"Allow me to be on lotion duty" I tease

"Only if I get to return the favor.."

With a mischievous grin I say, "I might need more persuasion"

"Hmmm.." pretending to think. Then, I push him onto his back, moving quickly to pin him. "Is that persuasive enough?"

I quickly kiss her lips. "It's a start" as I run my hands over her back

"Well, what would I have to do... to persuade you?"Playfully running my hands over his chest.

"Well, I could think of plenty of things, but in a public place, we could get arrested"

"You sir, are one naughty boy. What am I going to do with you?" I say giggling and moving off of him

With a chuckle, I grab the lotion and begin rubbing it into her shoulders, gently sliding her straps down to cover the area.

"I'm glad I'm here with you"

"Me too" I say smiling

Taking the bottle from him when he was finished, I smoothly massaged the lotion into his skin. Feeling the tension ease out of his muscles, I began to wonder what else my touch could do to him. My mind was pulled away, as some kids ran by heading for the water, screaming with joy.

"I bet the water's cold" I murmur, enjoying her touch

"Oh, I don't know about that. With the temperatures we've been having, I'm sure it can't be that bad. Let's go find out." Stripping off my shorts and shirt.

I hung back a little to enjoy the view. A smile creeped onto my face. "Oh wow" I drool. "Damn girl" I say running after her and snaking my arm round her waist

"What?" I barely get it out, before he is dragging me down into the water. "Hey... now was that really called for?"

"Well, it's one way to get you all wet" I reply, pulling her closer to me and kissing her salty cheek

"You don’t have to assault me to get me wet.." I whisper in his ear, with a smirk on my face

"Well, in that case..." I begin and wrap my arms and legs around her and dunk her, keeping hold of her all the time. I kiss her again, as we sit in the breaking waves.

The way the waves were rushing over us, as his lips were enveloping mine was so romantic. The combination of the cool water rushing over my skin and the heat from his kiss sent my sensations in an uproar. Wanting a bit more, I pulled away slightly and only to lean in more, as I began kissing him more passionately.

As our kisses became more intense, I realized that pretty soon I was gonna lose control. Reluctantly, I pulled away and helped her up. Hand in hand, we strolled back up the beach. I grabbed her towel and wrapped it protectively around her, gently kissing her forehead.

"You take my breath away" I whisper

I look up into his eyes and smile. The moment just kinda left me speechless. I turn and grab my sunglasses out of my bag and proceeded to lay back and bask in the sun.

I open the cool box and grab two juices. As I lay down beside her, I pass one over, taking in her features and smiling to myself

"Thanks"

Noticing that he is kinda staring at me, "what are you looking at?" I laugh

"You" I reply, grabbing another package from the box. "Strawberry?" I offer, taking one and feeding it to her

" Am I that interesting? I thought that I had something stuck to me or something. And if I do, I expect you to tell me.."

"Yeah, actually you do have something stuck to you" I say looking serious. "Me" I reply as my lips lock with hers in an intense kiss

As he pulls away, I look up to see that we are being watched. "Nick, we better cool it. We're uh.. being watched", hinting over to the left.

"Oh" I say a little curious, pulling away and glancing over to the left. A frown crossed my face at first, but then I smiled and turned back to Natalie. "That's my ex"

"Thinking of making her jealous aren't you?"

"She should already be jealous, she could never be as beautiful or amazing as you"

“That’s mean…” playfully hitting him in the arm

"So, you'd be ok with me going over and kissing her? Because that wouldn't be mean" I answer back, straddling her

"No, and don't you dare move a muscle. "

"Now, look who's the jealous one?" I tease, inching my face closer to hers

"I'm not jealous... I'm just protecting what's mine. Got a problem with that?" smiling

"Oh, so, I'm your property now?"

"I wouldn't say property, per say. But, yes" slowly crawling my fingers up his arm

I brush my lips against hers, before giving her a smile

"You can own me any time you want to. I have no objections"

"Really? Well then, I can certainly use that to my advantage..."

"I'm hoping that you do"
