~ A Week Later ~

"So where are we going now?" I asked a very hyper Allie. We were on the bus, and Allie and I were the only ones awake, considering as soon as the guys had come back from their show, they had crashed in their bunks.
It's about 12: 30 am, and me and Al are in the back off the bus, trying to watch TV, and eating all the food on the bus.
"And I would know…how?" she asked as she munched on a chip. I threw down the remote on the floor of the bus. "Don't you pay attention? Damn TV! We don't get any channels in a moving bus. Who thought of that one?"
Allie chewed on another chip thoughtfully. "Umm…duh? Of course we don't get any channels. That's because this bus here," she stomped on it with her foot, "is a piece of junk." At that moment, a pillow hit me in the back of the head, and seconds later a blue one hit Allie. We whirled around to find Nick and AJ, in their boxers and with blurry eyes, standing in the doorway.
"You guys could wake the dead if you wanted to," AJ moaned as he laid down on the couch, resting his head in Allie's lap. Allie snatched the remote from me, and continued to try and get a picture. Nick stumbled over to the floor next to me, and leaned his head on my shoulder. "Brian and the rest of them told us to tell you to shut up," Nick said and I ran my hair through his blonde hair.
"Sorry baby," I whispered in his ear, and I felt him relax. I gently massaged his shoulders. "Damn Laur…that feels good," came his weak reply. I glanced over to see Allie's eyelids slowly closing. I stood up, and Nick opened one eye and squinted at me. "Why did you stop?" I grabbed his hand and pulled him up.
"Because I'm tired, and you're tired, and we need some sleep."
He grunted and we made our way to his bunk. I crawled in first, then he did. He slung his arm over my waist, and kissed the side of my neck gently.
"Night Laur."
I pulled the blanket up to my chin, and rested my head in the crook of his arm. "Night baby."
~The next night; Nick's Point Of View~
Lauren snapped a button on my outfit, and smiled up at me. That smile that made my heart stop and beat faster all together. That smile I'd go anywhere for. Even after being in love with her for so long, she could still make me dizzy. "So your all ready to go, right?" she asked, her beautiful violet- blue eyes meeting mine.
I know I didn't tell her how enough how much she meant to me, but she was the most important thing in my life. I grinned as she threw me an impatient look.
"Yeah. But Laur…the show isn't for another 10 minutes. Why do I need to be ready to go now?"
I studied her heart shape face, and her blonde hair that fell to her shoulders.
"Because your always late, that's why, and for once I know the guys would appreciate it, if you were a little early," she said. I walked up behind her, and put my arms around her waist.
"Have I told you how much I love you?" I asked, inhaling the scent of her hair.
"Not in the last five minutes," she laughed, as I locked my hands around her waist, and whispered in her ear.
"Well I do. Love you," I said, and the door swung open. Brian cleared his throat, and looked at us with a cheesy grin plastered on his face. She stepped out of my arms, and studied her nails.
"We weren't doing anything, Bri. You can wipe that grin off your face," she said. He leaned back in the doorway, and looked at me.
"Well anyway, the guys are ready to go. You ready?" he asked, already walking out the door. Lauren pushed me gently out the door, and we walked down the white hallway. We turned around a corner, and Kevin, AJ, Howie, Allie, and our dancers were standing in a huddle, ready to do our little 'Backstreet Chant'. We all joined the circle, and we did our little chant.
"You and Allie gonna be in the seats?"
I put my arm around Lauren as she began to walk out the door.
"Uh huh. We'll be fine. I'll see you after the show, okay? Good luck," she said.
I kissed her forehead, and yelled good bye.
