~Friday; At the Airport~

"Bye Brian," I said as I hugged Brian tightly good bye. Brian hugged me in return, and I saw him struggling to fight a tear that pierced his eye. I had a strong sense of déjà vu, like I had done this already, when really, I had.
"Hey. Is that a tear, B-Rok?" I joked, smiling lightly, trying to lighten the mood. He grinned back, and smiled.
"I can't believe your leaving me, Lauren." Allie said, her hands on her hips, a smile on her face.
"Well you know I can't stand you for this long," I squeaked out as she squeezed me tightly. She smacked me slightly on my back. I threw my hands up defensively, and AJ said, "Cat Fight: Round One," in this fake announcers voice.
The guys laughed, and Allie and I hugged again. I hugged everyone, and finally I turned to Nick. The rest of the guys backed off, and sat down in nearby seats. He had been slightly cold to me the last two days. Now, though, he crumbled and crushed me against him.
"I'm sorry. I just wish you didn't have to leave." That's all he said, but I knew what he meant. It never had been easy for Nick to admit he was sorry. I think he knew that I understood.
"It's okay Nick," I choked out. I closed my eyes shut, so the tears that threatened to fall, wouldn't. I held on to him, like it was the last time I would ever see him. Finally, he straightened his shoulders, and released me. He gave me a half smile.
"C-Call me when you get in okay?" he asked, his eyes staring intently into my own. He was putting up a front, I could tell he didn't want to cry.
"Yeah Nicky." I only called him that when I was feeling overly emotional.
"I'll call you."
We stood apart from each other for a couple seconds, staring into each other eyes. Then I saw something in his eyes, and he broke down.
"God. I love you, Laur." That simple statement, made my tears flow freely down my face, and spill unto his chest. I laughed suddenly, and pulled away from him.
"We're acting like some love sick teenagers in a corny as hell chick flick." I said, and he smiled back down at me. Before he could respond though, the announcer came on.
"Now boarding flight 288."
I silently cursed the guy, while I grabbed my carry on bag.
"I know I told you not to say this before, but…bye Nick. Love you."
"Bye Lauren."
