"Kari, what did you want me to come over for?" Nick asked.

"I've been horrible to you. I want to apologize for how hateful I've been. You and Jessica belong together and I wish you the best. I always knew that you loved her. I'm so sorry for being so mean."

"Thanks, Kari. That means a lot."

"I know that Jessica loves you and if she loves you, then I love you too. Just not in the way that she loves you," Kari said laughing.

"I love you too, Kari," Nick gave her a hug.

"Now, your girlfriend is waiting on you. So, go."

"What are you talking about?" Nick asked.

"I arranged for the two of you to have dinner tonight at a very expensive restaurant. It's my treat, so don't eat too much!" Kari joked.

"Okay," he said sarcastically. Then he got serious. "Thanks, Kari."
