Jessica and Nick were at the lake again. They were standing on a bridge overlooking the water. Nick put his arms around her from behind and rested his head on her shoulder. Jessica had been having flashes of her and Nick in her mind. Things that she thought were fantasies, but they seemed so real. And right then and there was when Jessica remembered it all. The memories of the past 4 years of her life flashed in her mind. She knew who she was now.

"Oh my God," she said.

"What's wrong?" Nick asked.

Jessica turned in his arms. "I remember."

"You do?" Nick began to get nervous. He hadn't yet prepared himself for this.

"Me and you," she said.

"Yeah."

"But we broke up. And now we're back together. Why didn't you ever tell me?"

"Your mom and I didn't want to cause you any more stress by telling you. I'm so sorry. Please don't be mad."

"I'm not mad. I'm just wondering what we're going to do now."

"I want us to be together. These past few days have been great."

"Yes, they have. But, we argued so much."

"I know. But, please. Let's try to work it out. I love you so much. I was by your hospital bed every day until you woke up. I held your hand and talked to you and begged you not to leave me. Please don't leave me now."

Jessica took Nick's hand. "I won't leave. But, let's be careful. I don't want to ruin what we have."

"Okay. We'll take things easy."

"Thank-you."

Nick picked Jessica up and spun her around. "I'm so glad you got your memory back!"

"Me too!"

"Come on. Let's go tell everyone," Nick said.
