***June***
The wedding was scheduled for June 14. We went about May 29 to get fitted for tuxedos. We were certainly a large group. Me, Brian, AJ, Kev, Howie, My Dad, Jen's Dad, Aaron, Brent, and Grampa Chuck. It took us about 3 hours to finally get fitted. Today, we were picking them up. It was now June 6. By now, I was a nervous wreck and so was Jen. Last week, Jen and I picked out the cake. It was rather expensive; $530. But I have to admit, it was gorgeous. But the main reason for choosing that one, the look on Jen's face when she saw it. This day is going to be hers completely. I'm willing to do anything to make her happy. I was laying on my bed writing a song, when the phone rang. Since I was busy, I didn't answer it. After a few seconds, Mom yelled at me. I leaned over and grabbed the phone off the table. I knew exactly who it was.
"Hello?" I asked though.
"Nick!" Jen cried.
"Baby, calm down," I said concerned.
"We're in so much trouble."
"Jen what happened?" I asked frantically.
"They lost the cake," she said quickly. "We have to have that cake." I could tell she was almost in tears. I walked downstairs, all the while trying to calm her down. Mom was in the kitchen.
"Jen's freaking out. They lost the cake. She says the wedding's in eight days and we have to have that cake," I said.
,"Give me the phone," she said. I listened to her side of the conversation. Finally, we decided to call the caterer back and talk to him about it. After an hour, we convinced him to fix the same cake. Little did we know, that was just the beginning of the problems.

On the eighth, Mom, Me, and Jane went to pick up the wedding dress and the seven bridesmaids dresses. They were long lavender dresses. My bridesmaids were: BJ, Angel, Leslie, Ashley, Amanda, Hannah, and Paige. Thank goodness, the wedding dress was okay. But we were missing a bridesmaid dress. We only had six.
"UUUHHH! This wedding is going to be the death of me," I said frustrated.
Luckily they had simply misplaced the dress. First the cake, then the bridesmaids dress. Everything seemed to be going wrong.
----------------------------------------
The wedding is tomorrow, and tonight we had the dinner rehearsal. After the rehearsal, Jane was cooking for everyone. And when I saw everyone, I mean EVERYONE. It's a good thing the Carter's have a big house. There was Nick and I, my parents, Jane and Bob, Aaron, Leslie, BJ, Angel, Brian, Howie, AJ, Kevin, Paige, Ashley, Amanda, Hannah, Leighanne, my grandparents, Grandpa Chuck, and more of Nick's family that I didn't know. Totally, there was about 50 people in the house. Nick and I were sitting on the couch after dinner, talking to AJ, BJ, and Grampa Chuck. I could barely hear myself think. Nick noticed.
"Come on, babe. Let's get outta here," he said quietly.
We slipped out the front door without anyone noticing. He took my hand and we began to walk around the bay. It was so peaceful. He dropped my hand and put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his own shoulder. I put my arm around his waist and rested my head on his shoulder.
"I can't believe this is happening. I'm getting married tomorrow and I'm scared to death," I said. But I was serious. I really was scared. I loved Nick, but I was still nervous.
"Scared? Why are you scared? I'm not going to bite," he said half joking, half serious.
"I'm excited too. I'm very happy to be marrying you," I said smiling. He leaned down and kissed me.
"Yeah. Think of the girls that are gonna hate you b/c you're marrying me. Nick Carter, Backstreet Boy. That's one of the things that I like about you so much. You treat me like Nick. Not Nick Carter, Backstreet Boy. You respect me and love me for who I am," he finished.
"I still can't believe we're getting married tomorrow," I giggled.
"I know. Me either. But, I can't wait." \
We walked around for about an hour and when we got back, almost everyone had left. Nick drove me to my parents house, because I was staying over there to get ready for the wedding. Once at the door, he kissed me.
"Nick do you realize that you've just kissed me for the last time as your fiancee? Next time you kiss me, we'll be married."
"Yep. See ya tomorrow, babe," he said.
He was chewing a piece of gum. I watched him walk back to his car and drive off.
That night was the longest night I have ever endured. When I got into bed, it was 10:11. I was so excited, I didn't get to sleep till about 1:30a.m.. I wondered what tomorrow would be like. What would the rest of my life be like? Would Nick and I survive in a marriage? Especially with his career? I was worried, yet happy at the same time.
