Chapter 7 : The Tour Part III

Nick was a perfect gentleman and carried Jen's luggage to the bus for her, while she finished getting ready. She carried her bookbag as always, on the bus. It had stuff like books, CD player, CD's, food, stuff like that. Jen walked with A.J. to the bus.

"I'm fixing everyone some bagels. What kind do you want? We've got blueberry, strawberry, plain, and raisin," he said.

"I guess, I want blueberry," she said.

"Thanks," she finished.

He ran ahead of her and onto the bus. She walked around to the door and Aaron was standing there.

"You better warn, Brian," he said.

"What do you mean?" she said.

"I hope Nick doesn't fight him," said Aaron and climbed the stairs of the bus.

"Fight him? What are you talking about?" she asked.

"Nick's mad at Brian because you didn't come back to your room last night," said Aaron.

"Where is Nick?" she asked panicked.

"Loading the bus," he said.

Jen ran out of the bus and looked for Nick. He was coming out of the lobby carrying two black bags. She ran over to him.

"What are you mad at Brian for?" she said walking backwards.

"Why am I mad at Brian? For last night?" he asked.

"Yes," she said.

"I'm not. Who told you I was mad?" he asked.

They had now reached the bus and he was heaving the suitcases under the bus. He looked very S-E-X-Y picking up those heavy suitcases.

"Your little brother," she said placing her hands on her hips.

"Don't listen to him. You know better girl," he said. He walked over to her and slid his arm around her waist and pulled her to him and kissed her. "I gotta go. We gotta get these buses loaded now," he said smiling.

As he walked away, he grabbed her hand and held it as far away as he could. Ten minutes later, they were ready to go. Nick collapsed on the couch, exhausted. They were on their way to Chicago. They were actually about three hours away. About thirty minutes into the drive, Nick and Aaron retreated to the back of the bus to play video games. Jen sat on the couch and talked to Jane. It was the first formal conversation she had had with Nick's mom, since they had started dating. That night at the concert, A.J.'s girlfriend, Amanda came on the tour. Jen couldn't believe it, but there were only had seven more concerts left on the tour. She knew that going home would be agony. Nick must have known, because he seemed to be with her romantically whenever he could. For instance, whenever the guys had a little time of freedom, he made sure that time was devoted to Jen.

But all too soon, Jen found herself packing up her hotel room for the last time. They were in Atlanta, Georgia and tonight Jen would board a flight to Greenville. After the concert, Nick would take her to the airport. Nick and her didn't say much the whole day. The day sped by. She thought back to the first concert.'No. Don't think back" she thought. A short while later, Nick pushed her out the back door of the amphitheater. There were hundreds of girls.

"Go, go," he yelled.

She ran to the bus. Finally, she made it. She got on the bus and prepared to leave Nick.
