Chapter 1: The First Day

It took about eight to nine hours to get to Tampa. Jennifer had slept most of the time. It's not as if she was excited or anything. Maybe, just maybe, there'll be a cute guy on the beach, but she doubted it. Seriously. They arrived at the Buena Vista Resort in Tampa at about 1:30pm. About 3:00, the family decided to hit the beach. Jen only went to see the horrid place that she would be staying at for the next six weeks. She put on her brand-new bikini. It was lavendar with white and yellow flowers on it. She fixed her hair in a claw clip and went down to the beach.

She layed her towel out, put some suntan lotion on and her sunglasses, and chilled in the sun. She hadn't been laying there for more than ten minutes, when she heard giggling. She turned to look at who it was and got a bucket full of sand on her. She didn't know who the two little blonds were, but knew she had sand all over her. Great! There was nothing better than a mixture of suntan lotion and sand. The day was wasted anyways. She decided to go back up to her room, take a shower, and watch TV. At the time, it was about 3:45. She had her shower, and had retired to the TV, when her parents came back.

"Honey. We're going to drive around the coast. Do you want to come?" her mother asked.

"No. That's okay. I think I'll just sit here in my boredom," she said sarcastically.

"Fine. Suit yourself. But just remember, your vacation is only what you make it," said her dad in a slightly angered tone.

They left. Finally, the room was quiet again.
