The Wedding….

The wedding for Nick and Melody was finally here. Everything worked out. They found each other. It was right underneath them and they didn’t know it until they tried it.

"Well buddy I am happy for you." AJ said patting him on the back.

"Thanks." Nick looked in the mirror and thought

"I am getting married to Melody. The person who I have wanted to spend the rest of my life with since 7th grade." Nick smiled and walked out of the dressing room and into the church area where the ceremony was going to be held. Meanwhile Melody was getting ready.

"Girl I can't believe you're getting married. I always knew it would happen." Latoya said.

"I know. I can't believe it. Today is the day!" Melody was so excited.

"It’s time." Melody smiled and headed out the door. She saw Nick and smiled big. She walked down the isle thinking back from 7th grade until now what they have shared. The ceremony just started.

"If these two should not be married please say it now." the priest said.

Brian stood up and fired a gun. It hit Nick in the chest. Then Nick fired another one and it hit Melody in the cheat. Everyone gasped to see them go down. They sat there and laid side by side looking into each other's eyes and holding hands.

"Nick please don't leave me." she cried.

"I promise. I love you." Nick leaned in and kissed her.

"I love you too." their faces went blank.

Their lives went and flashed before them from when they first met when they were babies to when they first kissed back in the 7th grade while baby-sitting Aaron and Angel. And now it was all going to end then and there. No one tried to save them. They just stood there looking at Nick and Melody like they were ghosts. The last words that they said to each other meant a lot to the people around them. It would be the last time they would hear their voices once again.

"Nick please don't leave me"

"I promise I love you."

"I love you too."
