A Couple Days Later: Saturday
"So why aren't you and AJ hanging out today?" Allie asked.
"Well he has a meeting today. Didn't Brian tell you?"
"Yeah he did actually. Must have slipped my mind. So what do you plan on doing?"
"I dunno. What about you?"
"Thinking about going to the mall."
"Cool, I wanna go with."
"Alright. Angela's coming to. She's doing her hair. Come on."
The three gathered in Angela's Eclipse and made their way to the mall. Angela let Allie drive. While Toni sat in the back.
"Man I need a car." Allie said.
"Then buy one." Toni replied sarcastically.
"God you make it sound so easy. But I need one thing. That's money. To get money I need another thing. A job."
"Well you can try singing?" Angela made a suggestion.
"No way. I'll never make it."
"Come on Allie. You've got a great voice. Go for it."
"No. Noooooo. There's gotta be another way to make money. I can't keep living off of my father."
"Well whatever you say."
"We're here." Allie said pulling in a parking spot. "OK I have to go return something. I'll meet you guys at the food court for ice cream in 20 minutes."
"Alright." Angela and Toni replied. they headed toward the mall.
Angela and Toni hit a few stores on their way to the food court. The mall was, surprisingly, not too crowded being a Saturday. Everyone was probably at the beach. Since it was such a hot day. "OK, wanna make our way to the food court?" Angela asked Toni walking out of Wet Seal.
"Yeah let's go." The two took the elevator to the 2nd floor. As they got out and turned the corner they saw none other than the Priscilla group sitting at a table at the other end of the food court.
"Oh God. They're here." Angela said pointing to the group.
"Yeah and of course flirting. Look at Ashley hang on that one guy."
"I wonder what they look like." Angela said curiously since the guys' backs were faced at the them.
"Let's get our ice cream now. Allie's late." Toni said changing the subject.
They ordered their ice cream and Angela watched the Priscilla group flirt and laugh at everything the guy's said. It was about 5 of the girls from the group.
"Woah look at Priscilla making out with that one dude."
"Angela stop watching them. Just leave them alone."
"Hey guys, I'm here." Allie said sitting by them. "Oh can she stop making out already? I spotted them all the way from Sam Goody. Toni, that looks good what kind is it?" Allie asked speaking of her ice cream. Toni looked deep in thought as she stared at the group.
"Toni? You there?" Angela asked waving a hand in front of her face.
"Oh....my....God." She managed to say.
"What is it?" Angela asked confused. "That son of a bitch!" She yelled at stormed toward the group with Angela and Allie following, still confused. Toni practically ripped Priscilla and the guy apart from the kiss. "You fuckin' whore!" She yelled and slapped her across the face. She looked at the guy who Priscilla was making out with. It was AJ.
