Everyone left the kitchen still in shock of what they just saw. Angela and Nick? Who would've thought? They were always mean to each other. In fact everyone thought they hated each other. But what they thought was different from what they saw. Nick and Angela were too caught up in their make-out session and didn't notice everyone come in the kitchen, let alone, notice them leave the kitchen. They were all sprawled around the living room trying to comprehend this mystery.
"How long do you think this has been going on?" Rachel asked.
"I don't think it's been a long time. Angela would have told me." Toni said.
"And Nick would have told me." Brian added.
"Well what do you think they're gonna do?" Howie asked.
"They might get together?" Allie made a suggestion.
"Maybe." AJ agreed. Just then Nick and Angela came in the room.
"Umm...I'm gonna go now." Nick announced. The sight of him was funny. Egg yolk, syrup, cake all dripping off of him and more. Same with Angela.
"Well...umm what happened with you 2? Get in a little food fight?" AJ asked.
"Something like that." Angela answered. "Umm....I'm gonna turn in. Night guys."
"Yeah I'm going. Brian you can catch a ride with Howie and Rachel." Nick said and left before anyone could say anything.
A Week Later
It was the night of the Disney World Talent Show. The week passed quickly and Angela and Toni practiced very hard with the help of other dancers. They were Samantha, Kerri, Dana, Kristen, Tammy, and Jennifer. They became friends with Angela and Toni at a dance convention in Orlando a month ago. Allie was also there hanging out backstage talking with Brian. The girls' costumes were black spandex type material flares. With white and green stripes down the sides and either white, black, or green tank tops (AN: They sound nasty looking. But at my dance recital they were cool).
"I can't wait to see you guys perform." Allie said to Brian. They haven't become official yet. They went on about 3 dates since the kiss they shared. Everyone knew about them, Allie was just waiting for Brian to make his move.
"I hope we do OK. Our choreographer said we needed to spend some more time on the routine. But I think we have it down."
Angela and Toni were practicing some last minute dance steps. They were going on in 10 minutes.
"So Ang. What's the deal with you and Nick?" Toni asked.
"What?" She asked abruptly. "There's nothing. No deal."
"C'mon girl. I know you too well. What was that kiss about?"
"You saw us?" She asked surprised.
"Yeah we all did. Except Monica and Kev."
"Omigod. You all saw it. Great."
"It's not a big deal. Why did you do it? I thought you hated Nick."
"I did. I mean I do. I mean...UGH! I don't know Ton. I'm so confused! I mean one minute were yelling obscenities at each other, throwing every single piece of food at each other, the next we're making out. And......ugh......man....he's such a good kisser!"
"Wow. Angela, you have a thing for Nick."
"I do? I don't know how it happened. We just got caught up in the moment and kissed. It wasn't like I kissed him or he kissed me, we both kissed each other."
"So are you going to do something about it?"
"I'm....I....I don't know." She answered looking sad. "I like him though. I do. I just don't think he likes me."
Toni gave her a friendly hug. "I'm sure it'll all work out."
"I don't know when or how I started liking him. Especially because of all the crap he put me through. I need to sort everything out."
"Do that later. It's time to go on."
"OK. Good luck Toni."
"Yeah you too." The girls met with the other dancers and took their places on stage waiting to perform.

"Nick what's with you and Angela?" Howie asked him.
"What? Nothing. Wh...Why do you ask?"
"I saw you two kissing."
"You did?!?"
"Yeah well we all did. Except Monica and Kevin. So what's up with you guys?"
Nick watched the girls perform their routine from the side of the stage. They were real good. He couldn't take his eyes off Angela. "Wait Nick. What are you doing? You hate her! Well...she hates you, at least."
He turned his attention back to Howie. "I don't know man."
"Do you like her?" He asked.
"Uh...umm...I...I do. Yes I like her."
"Are you going to do something about it?"
"I don't think so. I'll just keep my feelings to myself."
"Nick you can't do that. You can't keep all these romantic feelings inside. You have to express them."
"I can't D. She'll laugh at me."
"No she won't. OK you two kissed each other. Who kissed who?"
"We both just kissed."
"So she didn't back away. Neither did you. You know what that means? You two wanted that kiss. And you two have a thing for each other." Howie explained to him just as the girls finished their routine that was a big hit. Filled with turns, kicks, flips, splits, everything that was really great.
"You guys did great." Allie commented.
"Thanks." They all replied.
"Yeah you all did good." Nick said.
"Thanks Nick." Toni replied.
"Angela...can we...talk?"
"Oh man. What does he wanna talk about? The kiss? OK this is going to be awkward. Just tell him it didn't mean anything." Angela thought. "OK let's talk." She said as calm, and casual as possible. He led her to a corner backstage away from everyone else. "About the kiss....." He began.
"It didn't mean anything. I just got caught up in the moment. I'm sorry I didn't do anything to prevent it. But it didn't mean anything." She lied.
"Oh it didn't? OK then." "Great it didn't mean anything to her. Howie was wrong. So much for expressing my feelings. Now I know she'll laugh at me."
"What did you have to say about it?"
"It...uh...'remember what Howie said' No it didn't mean anything to me either."
"OK then. I have to...um go now. So good luck."
"Yeah thanks."
The guys went on stage a few minutes later performing "Quit Playing Games With My Heart". They did an outstanding job and were presented with the 1st place prize. They got a trophy and $10,000 each. The girls got 2nd place prize. With a slightly smaller trophy and $2,000 each. And 3rd place was free tickets to all of Disney World (including MGM, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom). Some other singing group won that prize.
