~The Next Day~
Angela and Nick were hanging out at the girls' house. "I'm gonna miss you when we leave." Angela said to Nick.
"Yeah I'm gonna miss you too. But we have breaks and we can visit each other. It'll be fine. I'm sure we can make it." He reassured her. "I love you Ang." He said. That was the first time he told her that. It was actually the first time he said it to a girl and meant it.
Angela looked him in the eyes. She could tell he was telling the truth. "I love you too." She said. Angela hadn't loved a guy before. She had that boyfriend in freshman-sophmore year but that wasn't love. What her and Nick had was love.

Allie sang for Jive early and they told her to wait while they discussed her singing. So after waiting patiently for 2 hours Allie was asked to see Jarrett Jive. (AN: Name is completely made up. Sounds cheesy, deal with it! lol) She walked in his huge office and sat at one of the chairs.
"Allison. It's very nice to meet you." Jarrett said shaking her hand.
Allie shook his hand. "Yeah it's nice to meet you Mr. Jive."
"Please call me Jarrett." He insisted. "Now. You have some great talent. I mean your voice is incredible. And I am willing to offer you a contract."
"Really? So soon?"
He nodded. "That's the business. Now your first single will be a duet."
"A duet? With who?" Allie asked.
"Jarrett I'm here." Brian said from the door. "Oh hey Allie." Brian said. He sat on the chair next to her. "What's up Jarrett? You said it was important."
"Thanks for coming on such short notice Brian. You know Allie?" He asked.
Brian nodded. "Yeah long story."
"Well anyway. Allie has a wonderful voice. And I'm willing to sign her. I want her first single to be a duet with you. That song you wrote 'I'll Be There For You'. It's a perfect duet song if you change the lyrics a little. I think it can be a hit. The BSB CD is doing so well. With Brian's known voice, and Allie's new voice, this single could hit number one on the charts."
"Wow." Allie said. "This is happening so fast."
Jarrett began speaking again. "And, Allie, we can start recording for your CD as soon as possible. Have it released before Christmas. And the duet can be recorded tomorrow. And start on the music video next week." Jarrett said rushingly.
"Whoa Jarrett. Slow down man. What's the rush?" Brian asked. "The BSB have a tour in 3 weeks."
"I'm thinking of putting Allie as your opening act. You 2 can do the duet and she can do about 3 or 4 other songs. We'll get those ready within 2 weeks.
What do you think Allie?" He asked her.
Allie sat there stunned. All this was happening so fast. She didn't know what to say. But she found herself asking, "Where do I sign?"
