~The Next Day~
Angela and Toni were watching TV in the front room. They haven't heard from Allie since she left. Someone knocked on the door and Angela went to answer it.
"Hey Ang." Brian greeted with a smile.
Angela bit her bottom lip. "Hi Brian. Come on in." She led him inside and he shut the door. They went to the front room. "Here." She handed him the note that Allie left for him.
Brian took the folded piece of paper, puzzled. He looked over at Toni and she told him to read it. He unfolded it and began reading. Angela watched to see his expression change from happy, to sad.
Toni got up from the couch and walked toward Brian and Angela. "Are you alright Bri?" She asked him. Brian folded the letter and put it in his blue jean pocket. "Yeah I'm fine." He answered. "Look, I gotta go. If you hear from her let me know ok?"
Angela and Toni nodded. "I'm sorry she did this Brian." Angela said. "She's a confused girl right now. So much is going on with her. She just needs some time." She put her hand on his shoulder. "She'll come around."
Brian looked up. "Thanks. I'll talk to you later." He said and left.
"Well I hope she's happy." Toni said to no one in particular. "She just broke his heart! She shouldn't have gone out with him if she had feelings for someone else. What's her problem?!" Toni yelled.
Angela shook her head. "I don't know." She said simply.

~Angela~
I was getting ready for my date with JC. With all that's been going on, Anthony and Maria's engagement, Allie leaving, I almost forgot! He said we'd be going to dinner and a movie. Simple for a first date. Which was good. I put on black flares and a dark blue 2-finger tank. I applied little makeup, combed my hair down, put on my shoes and made my way downstairs. As I was about to get a Sprite, someone knocked at the door. I went to answer it. Expecting to see JC, it was Nick instead.
"Hi Angela." He said a little shy.
I smiled at him. He was so cute! His baby blues were heart melting. His blond hair was so beautiful. I longed to run my hands through his hair. I shook all romantic thoughts of Nick out of my mind. "Hey Nick, what's up?"
"Nothing much. Can I come in? I need to talk to you."
I remembered JC was going to be here in 10 minutes. "Sure come in. JC's gonna be here soon but that's ok."
Nick looked at me confused. "JC Chasez? You're going on...a...date?" He asked trying to sound casual.
"Yeah he asked me out yesterday." I said happily. "Oh what was it you had to tell me?" His expression was odd. Was that sadness, jealousy?
"Nothing. Nevermind. It was...nothing important." He replied. "I'm gonna go. Have a...good time...on your date."
I nodded. I led him to the door. "See ya Nick." I said a little sad. I wanted to be with him so bad. But he made it clear the he wanted me as a friend. I watched him get in his car and he drove out of sight. I closed the door and went back in the kitchen. JC was late.

~Nick~
I drove out on the highway on my way home from Ang's. I grabbed my cell phone and punched in the familiar 7 digits.
"Hello."
"Howie! Man I need some advice." I said desperate.
"Sure man what's up?" He asked cheerful. That was Howie. He was always happy at giving out advice. I sighed and began pouring out the details. "I was all ready to make my move on Angela. I was going to ask her out. Well she let me in and do you know what she said? She said that she was going on a date."
"Ouch! With who?"
"JC Chasez." I answered. "Ugh! I hate that mother fucker!"
"Whoa Nick. Slow down man. I know we're not all buddy-buddy with those N Sync creeps. Considering what happened with AJ and Justin. Man that was low."
I remembered what Howie was referring to. "Yeah that was bad. Why is this happening? I really like her. I really wanna be with her. What do I do D?"
Howie shook his head. "Wait. Give it time. Hopefully she'll come around and you two can be together. Just hang in there."
I nodded. "Thanks man. I'll talk to you later."
"Anytime." Howie said. "Bye."
I shut off my phone and turned off the highway. JC and Angela were probably at a movie now, holding each other. Oh man. I want her so bad.

Ok JC is now 25 minutes late. I heard the door open and AJ and Toni came in laughing. I sat back on the couch. "Hey you guys."
"Angela? You're still here? What about JC?" Toni asked me. AJ had his arms around her slim waist from behind.
I stood up. "I don't know where the fuck he is! He said 7. It's almost 7:30! Where the fuck is he?!"
"Maybe this tells you something." AJ said. I shook my head wondering what he was talking about. "What do you mean?"
"Those N Sync assholes are unreliable."
Toni turned to face AJ. "Assholes? You don't like N Sync?"
AJ shook his head. "No I can't stand them. Neither can the rest of the guys." AJ exclaimed speaking of the other BSB.
"Really? I think they're cool." Toni said.
"Well let's just say we don't have a very good past." AJ said. "And let's leave it at that."
"Ooook." Toni said a little confused.
Someone knocked on the door and I jumped off the couch. I opened the door and there was JC. "Well hello." I said casually.
"Oh my god Ang. I'm so sorry I'm late. But I had a flat tire and I had to pull over and change it in the dark. And it was difficult. And look at my shirt. See it's all dirty because I was on the dirty ground." He explained.
I looked at his white polo shirt and it was dirty. Black marks ran across it. I laughed at the sight of it.
"Hey! It's not funny!" JC whined. "This is a Tommy Hilfiger 50 dollar shirt! And it's ruined!"
I laughed even harder. "You could've called and said you were gonna be late. It's not a big deal."
"Oh well that's the other part of my story. I left my cell phone at my place."
"Oh man." I said breathlessly. "You're so cute." I pinched his cheek and he smiled that beautiful smile of his.
"So are you ready to go?"
"Yeah I just hope you have a jacket. Because it's gonna be embarrassing walking around with you." I said and laughed.
We walked to his car. He opened the door for me and closed it. I smiled to myself. I vowed to keep all romantic Nick thoughts out of my mind. Tonight it was just gonna be JC and me.
