*FOUR DAYS LATER*

"How's Adrianne?" Nick asked the doctor. The doctor sighed, "Not so good. We've had to keep her in a straight jacket the last few days. She just won't calm down. Maybe, you can help her."

Nick walked down the hall and into Adrianne's room. He saw her sitting on her bed rocking back and forth.

"Hi" Nick said.

Adrianne wanted to hug Nick, but she couldn't because she was still in the straight jacket. So, Nick came over and hugged her.

"It's ok" Nick said, "Maybe, I could talk to one of the doctors and try to get you outta that thing."

Nick went out into the hall and spoke with one of the doctors.

"Can't you let Adrianne out of that straight jacket now?" Nick asked, "She's not gonna hurt anyone."

The doctor went into Adrianne's room and said to her, "Adrianne, I'm gonna let you out of that straight jacket now. But, only if you promise to calm down and not attack anyone again."

Adrianne nodded yes. The doctor took the straight jacket off of Adrianne. Adrianne immediately went over to Nick and hugged him. After the doctor left, Adrianne spoke.

"So, how was NYC?" Adrianne asked.

"It was nice." Nick said, "I got you something." He handed Adrianne a little wrapped up box.

Adrianne smiled, "You didn't have to do that."

"I know" Nick said, "But, I wanted to."

Adrianne unwrapped the box and opened it. Inside was a little snow globe that had the Statue of Liberty in it.

"It's so pretty." Adrianne said, "Thank you"

"You're welcome" Nick said, "C'mon, lets go outside."

Adrianne and Nick went outside and walked around. They talked about all kinds of stuff.

"Does your family ever come and visit you?" Nick asked.

"No" Adrianne said, "But, they call and write all the time. Don't get me wrong, they do care. I dunno, I guess if they saw me in here, it would creep them out. Which, I understand." Adrianne started to yawn.

"You tired?" Nick asked.

"Yeah" Adrianne said, "I haven't gotten much sleep lately."

Nick motioned for Adrianne to lay down on his lap. Adrianne did and soon fell asleep. Nick looked down at Adrianne and stroked her hair gently. A nurse that was walking by came over and said, "Is Adrianne alright?"

"She's fine" Nick said, "She's sleeping."

"Wow" the nurse said, "Adrianne never lets anyone get this close to her. She must really like you."

Nick carried Adrianne inside the hospital and to her room. He laid Adrianne on her bed.

Nick leaned down and kissed Adrianne's forehead, "Good night, Adri"
