Nick had sunk himself into a deep depression. He laid in bed most of the day, only getting out of bed to go to the bathroom or get something to eat.

Worried about his brother, Aaron decided to pay Nick a visit.

"Nick?" Aaron said as he walked into Nick's house, Where are you?"

"Go away, Aaron!" Nick shouted from his room.

Aaron went up to Nick's room and went inside,

"Nick, you have to pull yourself together."

Nick looked at his brother, "How can I? Dammit Aaron, leave me alone!"

"No, I'm not gonna leave you alone." Aaron replied.

Nick rolled his eyes, "You're such a pain in the ass."

Aaron sighed, "C'mon Nick, you can't just shut yourself out from the rest of the world."

"Watch me" Nick said.

"You leave me no other choice." Aaron said. He went over to Nick's bed and lifted it up, causing Nick to fall on the floor.

"What did you do that for?" Nick asked angirly.

"Get up and get dressed." Aaron said, "We're gonna go take a walk."

Nick replied, "I'm suppose to be the big brother, not you. Look... if I take a walk with you, will you leave me alone?"

"Yes" Aaron answered.

Nick put on a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. Him and Aaron decided to walk to the park and play some basketball. They talked while they shot baskets.

"So, let me get this straight," Aaron said, "You slept with Adrianne and the doctor caught you. Now you're not allowed to see her?"

"Yeah" Nick sighed sadly, "They said I was corrupting her."

Just then, a group of guys walked by. One of them came up to Nick and said, "So, you're the Backstreet Bot that's dating the crazy girl."

"SHE'S NOT CRAZY!!!" Nick shouted as he slammed a basketball in the guys' face, causing the guy to be covered in blood.

"OWWW, fuck!! I think you broke my nose." the guy said.

"C'mon Nick, lets get outta here." Aaron said. Him and Nick quickly ran away. Luckily, those guys hadn't followed them.

"I'm gonna head home, Aaron." Nick told his little brother.

"Ok" Aaron said, "At least I got you out of the house for a little while."

Nick started walking home. Along the way, he ran into a girl.

"Hi, Nick" the girl said.

"Do I know you?" Nick asked.

"No" she said, "But, I know Adrianne. I used to be in the hospital, but I was released not too long ago. Anyway, I'm Emily."

"Hi, Emily" Nick said, "So, how is Adri?"

Emily looked at Nick strangely, "You mean you haven't heard?"

Nick was confused, "Heard what?"

Emily began to speak, "I was in the hospital yesterday filling out some paperwork, and I heard the doctors talking. Adrianne became so upset after the doctors said you two couldn't see each other anymore. She snuck a knife into her room and sliced her wrist open. I know Adrianne has cut her wrist before, but this time she cut some major arteries. And from what I've heard, she's lost so much blood that she's slipped into a coma."

Nick's eyes filled with tears, "Oh my god...no..."

"I'm so sorry, Nick." Emily said.

"Thank you for telling me." Nick said.

Nick began walking downtown, heading toward the hospital. He was going to see Adrianne. Nothing was gonna stop him....
