Three days later~~~Kevin was the last to arrive at the Las Vegas studio. "Well, well, well look who decided to show up" AJ said as Kevin walked into the studio. "Good morning bone" Kevin replied not even looking at him. "Good morning? It's noon and it's pouring rain outside" AJ said. "Where were you? Cause you weren't at the hotel all night long' Brian asked. "Sleeping" Kevin replied."yeah right" Nick coughed. "Ok where were you sleeping" Howie asked. "In a bed, dumbass" Kevin replied. "No duh, but with who, come on Kev, tell us" Nick said. "Nick you little... oh hi Mrs. Carter" Kevin said as Nick's mom walked into the room. "Hi Kevin, Nick we need to talk" Jane said to her son. "What did I do?" Nick asked. "Wait a minute I'm 18 you can't do anything" Nick added. "But I'm still your mother" Jane said and dragged her son who was at least a 12 inches taller than her out of the room. "Fine if you must know, my girlfriend um flew in yesterday, and that's where I was" Kevin said. "So are we gonna met her" Brian asked. "No, she leave's for LA early tomorrow morning and after this, I'm going back to her hotel and I'm pretty sure you guys don't wanna see what we are gonna do" Kevin explained. "Go Kev, go Kev" AJ chanted. "Turn on the TV, this is getting boring" AJ added. Brian turned on the TV to MTV. "Oh no change it" AJ said. It was his sister in a interview. "No, lets see what's going on in her life" Brian said.

"So, Katie how are you" the interviewer, John asked. "Pretty good" Katie replied. "So your cd just sold 8.5 million copies in the U.S and another 7 million worldwide, how does that feel" John asked. "Really good" "and your nominated for 3 MTV awards" "I know, I'm shocked, I can't wait for the award show" Katie replied. "At the MTV awards who else would like to see win?" "The Backstreet Boys, except for AJ, they are pretty cool and not to mention good looking guys" Katie said. "I'm pretty sure they gonna win at least 1 award. Who is your favorite BSB" "Who is my favorite? hmmmm it would have to be Kevin, for several reasons that I'm not gonna name" Katie replied. "Ok, do you have a boyfriend?" John asked. "Yes I do, last night was the 1st night I have seen him in about 3 ½ almost 4 months" Katie said. "Why so long" "I'm on tour in Europe and he can't get time off to come see me, because of his career" "oh why did you two do last night" John asked. "We were makin hot dog" Katie said laughing. "Huh" John asked. "It's a private joke" Katie said. "I hate those" "yeah maybe I'll explain to you after" Katie said.

"Boring" AJ said and grabbed the remote out of Brian's hand and started switching channels. "What does making hot dogs mean" AJ asked. "I would tell you but then again you broke us up, so no" Kevin said. "Oh my god nooo, I can't watch this!" Brian said and covered his eyes. AJ turned it to the Playboy channel.

"So why did you say Kevin was your favorite BSB" Maria asked Katie as they were walking in a mall. "Hmm lets see, he's good looking, has a really nice body, is very good in bed and is my boyfriend" Katie replied. "I should have known better than to ask" Maria replied. "I gotta go there. I'm sure I can find something to surprise Nick" Maria said pointing to a Victoria's Secret. "Yeah I can find something in there as well" Katie replied.

"Oh Nick" Maria called. "Coming" Nick said and walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and his body still wet from his shower. "Woah" Nick said as he saw Maria lying on the bed wearing only what she had bought earlier that day at Victoria's Secret. "You like" Maria asked. "Yeah!!" Nick said and jumped on the bed, causing his towel to fall off. "It was just going to come off anyways" Nick said and kissed Maria, passionately and reaching over to turn off the TV by the remote. "It's gonna distract us" He said and kissed her again.

By December of that year, the Backstreet Boys were the biggest group in music. Katie McLean was right up there with them. One thing the public didn't know was that she and AJ were twins. The Backstreet Boys were having a homecoming concert on December 31, in Orlando, that would also be available on Pay Per View. Then in January the guys were shooting the new video for I Want It That Way the first single off of their new album, that would be released in May.

In Los Angeles ~~~~~~ "cut!!!!!!!" the director yelled. "Makeup!!!!" he yelled next. "What's the matter" the assistant director asked, as the 5 Backstreet boys start walking towards them. "what did I do" Nick asked. "This part of the video was almost done, almost done. Then I notice something on somebody, that doesn't belong" the director said. "That's AJ, the tattoos don't' belong, but he keeps getting them" Kevin said. "I'm not talking about AJ, I'm talking about you" the director said. "Huh" Kevin asked. "Do you want the whole world to know what you were doing the night before the video was filmed" the director asked. Nick, Brian, Howie and AJ started laughing. The make up artist came over and handed Kevin a mirror. "You knew about this and didn't tell me" Kevin asked. AJ nodded. "You can thank Kevin, cause we have to stay here long and redo the past 3 scenes" the director said "thanks Kev" the guys said sarcastically. "Why are we yelling at him, we should yell at his girlfriend" Brian said. "We would but we don't know who she is" AJ replied. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it" Kevin said. "All your gonna do is forget, as soon as you and her get in bed, I'll yell at her for you" Nick said. "Like she's really gonna listen to you" Kevin replied laughing. "Oh yeah she won't" Nick said.

The next day~~~~ "what's wrong" Katie asked as Kevin walked into their hotel room. "We had to do most of the video over again" Kevin replied sitting down on the bed. "What did Nick do now" Katie asked. "It wasn't him. You gave me a hickey and I didn't know" "ohh sorry about that, but why are you complaining" Katie asked. "I'm not complaining, I wanna do it again" Kevin replied standing up and walking over towards her and kissing her neck. "I have to go to MTV studio's for an interview" Katie replied. Kevin kissed her passionately. "MTV and Carson can go to hell, I'm staying here" Katie said walking over towards the bed with Kevin following her. "That's more like it" Kevin said.

A few days later~~~~ "hi guys welcome back" Carson said and the five guys walked out. There were no huge crowds because the guys came on as a surprise. "Hey" They all replied, they really did not like Carson. "So when is your album coming out" Carson asked. "May 18th" Kevin said. "It's called Millennium" Nick added. "did you guys write any songs on it" Carson asked. "Yeah, I wrote a song called "the perfect fan" it's for my mom" Brian said proudly. "The song I wrote is called Back To Your Heart" Kevin added. "Is it for anybody" Carson asked. "My girlfriend" "speaking of girlfriends, do you guys have any and if you do tell us about them" Carson said. "I have a girlfriend. She's 18 going to be 19 in July and is going to FSU. We have been together ever since I was 16" Nick said. "And I don't like the fact that she's gonna be smarter than me" Nick added. "What do you mean going to be smarter. She already is" AJ said laughing. "And much better looking" he added. "I have a girlfriend, who I love very much" Brian said. "She just finished up law school. She's an attorney. We have been together for 3½ years" Brian said obviously proud of Leslie. "I don't have a girlfriend" Howie said. "I have many girlfriends" AJ said. "Just kidding, I'm single and always look to have some midnight fun" AJ added. "Kevin, we know you have a girlfriend cause you just said you wrote a song for her, but what is she like" Carson asked. "she works as a dancer" Kevin said. It was half of the truth. "And we have broken up a couple of times, due to some complications, but we have been together for about a total of 2½ years. It's gonna be 3 years on my birthday" Kevin said.

Two days before Millennium was released (May 16th, 1999)~~~~ "I know this has nothing to do with the BSB, but AJ what happened to your sister. She hasn't had a video out since her last one was retired last November" Carson asked. "She told me she was taking a break. I can't blame her, she's been doing this since she was 15, over in Europe then when she was 16, she hit it big here. She's 21 now" AJ said. "Back to the album, you guys planning to go on tour, Nick" Carson asked. Nick made a face that said "your asking me?!" "Uhhh ummmm Kevin" Nick said. "Our world tour starts off in Europe on June 1st then, we come back to the U.S. in August and in September we tour North America" Kevin explained. "I was going to say that" Nick said. "Yeah right" everybody said.
