"Yeah it looks like it's going to be great," Melissa answered.
They arrived in Cancun and were now standing outside the hotel. They had just finished unpacking and were now checking out the guys.
"Don't look now but major hottie coming towards us." Megan warned.
"Not my type," Melissa answered.
"I wasn't asking for you, I wouldn't mind hooking up with him."
"Hello ladies. How are you?" the guy asked them.
"We're fine. We just got here today," Megan answered.
"Sweet. By the wat, I'm AJ Mclean. I'm here with my friend and his girlfriend."
"I'm Megan Morgan an this is my twin sister, Melissa."
"Pleased to meet you ladies. What are you girls doing later tonight?"
"Oh we don't know yet. Why? You got somthing in mind?" Megan asked seductively.
"Well there's some great clubs around here. I know of one that's really good. Why don't you meet me there later?"
"Sounds great. We'll be there," Megan promised.
"OK I'll see you then, Bye." he called as he walked off.
"OMG! He was so hot!" Megan gushed. "Now we just gotta find you a guy. Let's go into the lobby and look around."
"OK I guess," Melissa said unenthusiastically.
They entered the hotel lobby and climbed up to the balcony. Looking over the railing they had a great view of the whole lobby.
"Okay exactly what kind of guy are you looking for?" Megan asked. "Mel! Mel! Mel! Are you listening?!"
Melissa didn't answer. Her eyes were on what she thought was the hottest guy she ever saw. He was very tall with blond hair and blue eyes. There was just something about him that made her heart race. All of a sudden he looked up and their eyes met. It must be fate she thought as she smiled back at him.
It's funny though, how when you get your hopes so high they can come crashing down in a matter of minutes. Well, thats exactly what happened. Melissa was sure she had finally found the perfect guy when a pretty, sophisticated, blond girl entered the lobby and threw her arms around him.
"Hey baby, I've been looking everywhere for you," the girl told him.
"I've been right here Erin. So whatare we doing now?" the guy asked.
"Whatever. I don't know. This may sound corny but I wouldn't mind just staying here with you," She told him as she kissed him.
Melissa could practically feel her heart breaking. It figured that as soon as she found a guy that she really liked, he'd have a girlfriend already. Her eyes almost started to tear but she blinked the tears that threatened to fall down her face away furiously. Why should she cry anyway? it was a stupid thing to be upset over. Lot's of guys had girlfriends. Yea, but other girls didn't have to worry that this trip might be their last she thought.
Megan relized what was going on and out a comforting arm around her. "Forget him. There are 50million other guys around hre. It can't be too hard to find another one."
Yea but what if he was the one I wanted, Melissa thought sadly as she sighed/ She didn't feel like arguing with Megan about how much she really liked this guy. Megan would just laugh at her anyway. So she let Megan take her upstairs to her room to pick out a killer outfit for that night.
