“Look at those two, all lovey-dovey over each other” AJ whispered to Amy.
“I think it’s cute that they’re being public with their feelings”
“Really? We could do that”
“AJ sweets, I’d like to have a conversation with you that didn’t lead to making out or flirting. Is that alright?”
“Yeah it is, but I need you to come inside for a sec”
“Umm okay. Whatever you say baby” She said and reluctantly followed him into the house.
“Where are they off to?” Nick asked as he saw the other to retreat.
“Lets not worry about them. What they do is what they do and it doesn’t concern us”
“I know, but I don’t want Amy to get hurt”
“Nick, she won’t. I think they have the same feelings going on between each other like we do. Maybe AJ will finally settle down” She said giggling.
“AJ will settle down when Rok says basketball is boring. There is no way in hell that’ll happen”
“Don’t deny the unbelievable. Things can, and I think, will happen”
“Alright Em, I’ll believe ya this once” He said and gave her a sweet kiss.
“Would you two knock off the public smooching” Bri suddenly exclaimed.
“Leave them alone, Brian” Lissa replied.
“Lissa’s right, it’s not everyday someone like Em can keep Nick happy for a long period of time” Kevin added.
“Are you saying I’m grumpy, Kev?” Nick asked interrupting.
“When you don’t get your way, which is 99.9% of the time, yeah I would say so”
“SHUDDUP!!” He exclaimed angry.
“Aww Nicky, we were just playing with ya. No need to get frustrated” Kristin said as everyone laughed.
“You’re all big meanie-heads!” He said, practically mimicking a two-year-old and walked off into the house.
“Yep, Nick’s not immature” Brian announced as everyone continued to laugh.
Em decided to go in and calm him down. She stepped into the kitchen, gently closing the patio door, but didn’t see him anywhere. She looked around, still finding nothing.
“Baby, where are you? They were just playing around”
“I know” He said simply, scaring the shit out of Em.
“Damnit Carter, don’t sneak up on me like that” She said and smacked his arm.
“Oww, please! Not another bruise! I can’t take it anymore” He said seriously.
“I’m sorry, I just thought you deserved it for scaring me”
“Whatever. I can’t find Amy and AJ”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean that they’re nowhere around here. They disappeared, vanished, POOF!”
“I got the idea, but where the hell could they have gone”
“Beats me. There’s not many places they could”
“If they hop on a plane, they could go across the country, Nick”
“But they didn’t so what’s the worry?”
“Lets just see if they left a note or something” She said frustrated.
They both looked downstairs and found nothing. Nick decided to go upstairs and see if anything odd was left behind. He went over to AJ’s bedside table and to his surprise, he had left a note. AJ never leaves notes. This is odd—Nick thought and started to read:
To anyone who finds this, most likely Nick or Em,
AJ and I have realized that we truly love each other and didn’t know how else to express it. So we figured, what the hell. As you read this, we’re boarding a plane to Las Vegas and getting hitched. Sorry we didn’t tell ya, but we knew you would try to stop us. We’ll be back tomorrow morning so don’t bother coming after us.

Nick finished reading as his eyes grew wide with disbelief. He ran down the steps quickly, searching frantically for Em, because he knew she should know right away.
“EM! BABY, WHERE ARE YOU??” Nick screamed.
“I’m right here. What’s the matter?” She asked curiously.
“I think you better read this” He said and gave her the paper.
He watched as she looked at him oddly than began to read. She went from curious to shocked to pissed off in three seconds.
“Holy Shit! I told you, Nick! I’m going to kill AJ the next time I see him”
“Don’t forget Amy, she’s in this too ya know”
“Yeah, but she was never like this until she met AJ in the first place”
“I’m not going to listen to you bash AJ when Amy is equally guilty”
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE?” Kevin shouted, getting their attention.
Everyone else had heard the commotion and joined the other two in the living room.
“Amy and AJ went to Vegas to get married” Nick said, rather calmly.
“Nick, please tell us this is one of your little pranks and those two will come out laughing any minute” Brian said not so sure of himself.
“Read this” Em replied and handed the note to him. The other three huddled around him so they could read as well.
“Oh my gosh, you weren’t kidding” Lissa exclaimed.
“Nah, really?” Nick said sarcastically.
“We have to fly out there and stop them”
“Alright, lets go and hope we don’t get recognized” Kev said as they all headed for their cars and drove to the airport.
~*On The Airplane*~
“I can’t believe we’re doing this!” Amy said happily.
“I know, but I know it’s the right thing and I’m not lying”
“I feel the same, but I wish our friends and family we’re with us”
“Okay, how about we get married and then we plan a wedding for friends and family for a later date?”
“I love that idea. And I especially love you, Alexander James McLean”
“And I love you, Amy Elizabeth Evans” He replied giving her a sweet, passionate kiss.
