Chapter 47

After getting back to Nick’s house, (Brian’s house that Nick is staying at) Nick went to play his Play Station while Margo and Christin talked. They talked about alot of things. Immediately they were good friends. At the moment they were discussing business and jobs, and what they do for a living when the door bell interrupted them.

“I’ll get it!” Nick hopped up and ran for the door.

“I think he hasn’t realized that Brian’s not here any more.” Margo joked.

“Hey Nick.” Came a familiar raspy voice down the hall.

“Sup AJ? Come in. I need someone to talk to instead of listening to all this girl talk. I can’t even understand half the crap they’re talking bout.” Nick complained.

“They? Who’s they?” AJ asked as he walked into the hose and shut the door.

“Margo and Christin. Come on. I’ll show you.” Nick started walking towards the living room.

“Wassup AJ.” Christin casually said.

“Oh, so you’re AJ? I’m Margo, Nicks friend, girlfriend, whatever you wanna call me.” Margo joked.

“Yeah, Nick told me about his new friend, girlfriend, whatever he called you.” AJ laughed.

“He did, did he?” Margo walked over to Nick.

“Yeap.” Nick said. “Margo wanna help me get some drinks in the kitchen?”

“Yeah, sure.” Margo agreed curiously. “Christin you want anything?”

“Nah, thats aight.” Christin replied.

“How about you AJ?” Margo asked as she started for the kitchen with Nick following.

“Nope. I’m fine.” AJ remarked.

After Nick and Margo left the room, AJ took a seat next to Christin. “I’m sorry.”

“For what?!” Christin asked, shocked.

“For today. Earlier today. I was being whacked.”

“Yeah, I didn’t exactly help matters out.” Christin retorted.

“So, what you doin’ here?” AJ probed for some answers.

“Oh. Nick and Margo picked me up from the airport. I got an earlier flight but it got cancelled.” Christin explained. “This has been the best day!” Christins sarcasm spilled over.

Something caught AJ’s eye as Christin turned her head. It looked like a bruise... it was a bruise. “Oh, my god. Christin, what happened?” He genly pushd her chin to the left so he could examine it.

“AJ, don’t bring that up. It has to do with a bitch that claimed to be yours. It was the best part of my day.” Christin smiled falsely.

“Who?” AJ asked, confused.

“Well, I should say ex-bitch. Atleast thats what she told me. Right before she hi tme, and I had to knock her around.” Chrsitin said as she grew serious. AJ was still very close to her.

“Lilia? Hoe.” AJ whispered.

Christin laughed so hard that she fell back against the arm of the sofa. “If she’s such a hoe why did you date her?”

AJ thought about that then replied. “Good question.”

With that reply Christin sat up and met AJ face to face. For a long while they just stared at each other, then all the sudden, like a flash of lightning, they were passionately kissing.

“Let’s go back to my place.” AJ whispered in between kisses.

Christin couldn’t help but shake her head yes.

AJ stood up taking Christin’s hand, while she grabbed her things with the other. Next thing they knew they were out the door, headed towards AJ’s house in his vehicle.

Margo and Nick walked out of the kitchen hand in hand only to find an empty living room. “Where’d they go?”

“I don’t know, probably to go get some food or something.” Margo reasoned.

“Yeah, you’re probably right. Let’s watch that movie.”

“Yeah. Sure.” Margo pushed play on the VCR and turned the light out, then made herself comfy on the couch with Nick. They fell asleep in each others arms.
