Jeremy: "i look forward to having a family and i'd also like to get into music production. i wanna perform as long as i can, but i'm open to gods will after that"
Jason: "my lifelong goal is to carry out god's plan and to be in his will, and musically i wanna be the best vocalist i can possibly be"
Nathan on homeschooling- "It was grade 2 through high school. i went to a public school in 10th grade for a couple months, but i decided to stay home and practice and write songs and do my music.."
Jason: "I can be a morning person. This past couple of weeks I’ve been waking up early without an alarm. I’ll always be singing old hymns in the morning. "
Nathan- "YOU KNOW..I USE TO THINK "IS IT MY WILL THAT I WANT TO BE IN CCM MUSIC OR
GOD'S" I THINK THAT AS LONG AS YOU ARE OBEDIENT TO HIM FOLLOWING WHAT HE
SAID AND TRUSTING HIM...NOT WORRYING ABOUT THE FUTURE, THEN THINGS WILL WORK
OUT FOR THE GOOD. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT HE'LL GIVE US OUR HEART'S DESIRE WHEN
WE TRUST HIM."

Plus One (performers in pre-telecast) – People say we’re the new boy
band but we’re happy to be able to share our message. We haven’t had the
outside contact with concerts yet. Plus One reminds us that God is always
with us. We are trying to reach anyone who will listen with the Good News of
Christ. The overall theme of our album is the message of hope. Everyone has
been through hard times and, hopefully, people will find hope through the
words.
Nate- "When we lived in San Fransisco, we lived in a one bedroom apartment with a pull down bed in the wall of the family room. Gabe slept in the the walk-in closet."
Jeremy- "I'd say Nate is the guy who's surprised by everything. He's always got his mischevious smirk."
Jeremy (On seeing famous stars...)- "You sit there going, 'Wait a second! Wait a second!'"
Gabe- "Ooookeeeee"
Nathan- "Guys with good voices are a dime a dozen in LA, but
chemistry…that's another story. Plus One works because we are not just five
guys singing next to each other- we've worked our socks off from the
beginning to connect, to click."
Jeremy- "In some ways we're very different, but it's our differences that
make us interesting- as friends and as a group. I'm learning how we each
bring something special to everything we do, and that it's the ways we
differ that allows us to be more than just ordinary."
Jason- "Anyone can sing about God, but we knew that until we had something
to say with our lives, our songs would be empty."
Nate (on being called a boyband)- “At first, we were like, hey, don’t call
us that, but then we realized, well, we are a band, and we’re boys, we look
like a boy band so...we accept that now.”
Nate- "Gabe is the rock star of the group. He plays so many instruments.
He’s amazing. He plays guitar and piano really great, but his best
instrument is the drums."
Nate (when asked to describe the group)- "We’re a pop, R&B kind of group
with nice harmonies. We’re never going to get away from the comparisons,
like with the Backstreet Boys, but we want to take it to our own level, to
put our own style and our influences in it. Thankfully, we’ve been allowed
to choose the material we’ve done. We want to have more of a mature sound,
to be able to reach all ages."
