Jason Facts:

  • He was the last Plus One member to graduate high school. He graduated June 4th, 2000
  • Jason is a pastor's kid. His father preaches at First Assembly of God.
  • Jason is a morning person. Every morning he sings old hymns and wakes everyone up. According to Gabe, "he doesn't sing them the normal way, he sings them in a old, deep, rich, bellowing way."
  • Jason sings in the shower.
  • Jason is a neat-freak.
  • Jason says he has to call his Mom everyday.
  • Jason was the starting full back and defensive end for his high school football team when he left to join Plus One.
  • Jason can play the drums
  • Jason wishes his name was Bright
  • Jason says if he could be any musical instrument, he would want to be a sax (because they're "bad")
  • If Jason wasn't a singer, he says he would be playing football with the NFL or he'd become a pastor like his father.
  • The other guys say Jason complains about EVERYTHING - from the temperature to the radio station.
  • Jason loves sports
  • Jason has a golden retriever named Max.
  • Jason is one of the strongest lead vocalists in the group. He can hit the high notes early in the morning and is a good live singer.

    Nate Facts:

  • Nate is a Pastor's kid. His father preaches at the Capital Christian Center in Sacramento.
  • Nate's Grandfather wrote some famous hymns! Three of them include: "Mansion Over a Hilltop," "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow," and "Room at the Cross."
  • Nate's dream duet is with Christiana Aguliera.
  • Nate is sloppy.
  • Nate wishes he'd been named Chandler. But, since he's not, he says that if he ever has kids, he will name one of them that.
  • Nate is the gullable one of the group.
  • When Nate first joined Plus One, he went by Nathan. He shortened his name because there was already a Nathan.
  • Nate's most humiliating moment on stage was this: They were starting a concert, and they always start off with "My Life," and run on stage when the song starts. Nate started running up the stairs and they were on rollers. His feet flew out from underneath him and he went flying.
  • Nate's favorite thing at his favorite resturant, Chili's, is either steak fajitas or chicken crispers.
  • Nate's bad habit is talking too much and too loud. He also always has to win an argument, and he can never be wrong.
  • If he wasn't in the music buisness, Nate would be playing golf and trying to get on the PGA tour.
  • The others say that Nate is a good speaker at concerts because he knows their heart as a group and verbalizes that well.
  • Nate's first lunch box was Scooby Doo.
  • If Plus One ever came to a close, Nate would still stay in the ministry, write songs, and maybe be a solo artist.

    Nathan Facts:

  • Nathan is a neat-freak.
  • Nathan's brother Ivan was asked what he thinks about seeing Nathan's face being plastered all over the place. Ivan said, "I think it's funny!"
  • Nathan appears in a Visa credit card print advertisement that is currently running in major national publications.
  • Nathan was home-schooled 2nd grade through high school. During 10th grade he went to public high school for a couple of months, but then went back to home-schooling.
  • The others say that Nathan is always talking on the phone, and is scatterbrained.
  • Nathan is considered the "brain" of the group.
  • If Nathan wasn't in the music business, he would be selling shoes because that's what his job was before he joined Plus One.
  • When Nathan first moved to Nashville, he tourned briefly with Janet Paschal. Nathan was also a soloist for a short time before joining Plus One.
  • If Nathan could be any musical instrument, he would want to be a guitar.
  • If Plus One ever ended, Nathan would like to continue to write songs and be a producer.

    Gabe Facts:

  • Gabe is a pastor's kid. His father preaches at Lighthouse Christian Center
  • Gabe sent his prom picture in with his audition tape, instead of the usual 8 x 10 head shot.
  • Gabe's first lunch box was Superman.
  • Gabe is sloppy.
  • The other guys say that Gabe is the funniest guy in the group.
  • Plus One's first apartment was so small that Gabe was forced to sleep in the closet.
  • If Gabe wasn't a singer he would consider becoming a pastor like his father.
  • Gabe has a cat named Yang, but also admits to being petrified of animals. When he first saw Jeremy's dog he was scared of it "because it kept sniffing him."
  • Gabe said if he could change his name he would change it to Joe.
  • The other members say that Gabe is never serious, and you can never tell is he's paying attention because he zones out.
  • Gabe's bad habit is losing things. He always leaves something - phones, wallets, watches - at the hotel, and they always have to call back to get it.
  • If Gabe wasn't a singer, he would want to be an artist (painter).
  • If Plus One ever ends, Gabe would want to start his own clothing line, record label, production company, and start other Christian groups.

    Jeremy Facts:

  • Napping when he was called to audition for the group, he thought it was friends playing a joke and went back to sleep.
  • Jeremy has a tattoo on his upper right arm that says "JMM" (his initials)
  • Jeremy says he has Proverbs 18:12 taped to his answering machine.
  • Jeremy received a vocal music scholarship to Southwest Missouri State.
  • Jeremy has a Maltese named Oscar and a fox terrier named Star.
  • Jeremy's bad habit is smacking his lips. He also makes this little sound when he's sleeping that keeps the other guys awake.
  • Jeremy has penguin pajamas.
  • The others say Jeremy is a good speaker at concerts because he thinks through what he's going to say before he says it.
  • Jeremy's first lunch box was Star Wars.
  • If Jeremy could be any musical instrument, he would be a violin (because they're "smooth")
  • Jeremy is very opinionated and bold, and isn't afraid to say what he thinks.
  • If Plus One ever came to a close, Jeremy would want to have a family and get into the music production.
