Chapter 6

Taylor

'Hehehe' (<- that was an evil laugh/thought) 'It worked.'

Andrea

I pulled back slowly and narrowed my eyes. Okay, so that was just a little unusual. "What the hell was that?" I asked. Taylor didn't even aknowledge my presence. He was back to staring at the left corner of the room at the tv (which was still fast forwarding). Without flinching or even looking over he said "What the hell was what?"

"Oh!" I laughed out loud. "So you think that's how it's gonna be?" I asked. I jumped on to my feet and stepped back to keep from tipping over (co-ordination is not one of my strong skills). He still wouldn't look at me but it was obvious it took every ounce of self control he could muster up to keep from cracking the uncaring mask he was wearing. "I don't think so." I said and clucked my tongue. 'Damnit, why is he still watching that stupid tv. I need to talk!' I thought and with that stepped over and hit the power button under the screen. The picture zapped off and I spun around to face a shocked Taylor. He opened his mouth the protest but I cut him off. "That is not how it's gonna be. And I'm gonna get you back for that." I said, shaking my finger like I was reprimanding a 4 year old for throwing a tantrum in the middle of a department store.

"Oh, really? Your gonna get me back?" he asked. I knew I wasn't imagining it. "Yes I am. I don't know how yet but I will. This is war, Taylor Hanson. And you will feel my wra-" Before I could finish my sentence I fell backwards into the wall.

"Mother fu...." I began with a string of curse words which I kept to mumble and straightend up. "Joe! Could you NOT do that?" I yelled to the front. "Sorry, but we're here." he yelled back. I turned my attention back to Taylor. "What was I saying? Oh, yeah... I'll get you back. You can count on it." I swore. "Yeah, okay. Whatever you say." he said. Fine, he can find out for himself.

With nothing more to say, I nodded to myself and dramatically turned and left the room to get off the bus. Bryan was in front of me and took forever to get out so Taylor had quite enough time to catch back up. About to climb down the 4 or 5 steps to the ground, I felt a small pressure on my right shoulder, which is really not that unusual because each step was so high up everyone was conscience of the fact that outside help was almost necessary to get down without breaking a neck or ankle or other important body part, I had even unconsciencely grasped the back of Bryan's neck.

But of course, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to begin my "payback". "Don't touch me." I said over my right shoulder. "Woaw there tiger, just helpin out." He replied, but failed to move his hand. "I said, don't touch me, or else.." I said. I knew what was coming next, it was a perfect glimpse into the future. "Or else what?" he replied, reading from the invisible script as we neared the bottom step. I took a deep breath and began screaming. "Help! Rape! Help!" Bryan, who was in front of me, brought his hands to the sides of his face. "Ow, my ears." he complained, but my plan worked. Immediately, Taylors hand was no longer on my shoulder as we exited the bus. Some people, who had most likely came from one of the other buses or one of the other cars, looked over to see the commotion but no one really came over. Geeze, what if I was really being raped? Not that that was likely to happen going down the stairs, but hey, some people are freaks.

I glanced over my left shoulder, feeling Taylor heading that way, and called out "That's just the beginning." He looked over at my, like I was crazy and shook his head. Maybe I was taking this a little too much to the extreme but a light-hearted fued was always fun and ran to catch up with familiar faces.
