"It's a surprise... go take a shower or something, and change your clothes,"
he said, noticing she was in the same thing she had been wearing the night
before.
Jessica blushed, realizing she hadn't changed out of her clothes the night
before, then she headed upstairs. When she finished taking her shower, and
had dressed in some clean clothes, she went downstairs to find Brian setting
the table. She sat down, and he placed infront of her a plate of eggs and
bacon. "The toast will be up in a sec," he said.
"Brian, this is extremely wonderful, but..."
"But?"
She couldn't help but laugh, "I never eat breakfast!"
Brian hit himself over the head, "I should've known that!"
"Yes you should've, because we had this same conversation when you tried to
surprise me with breakfast for my birthday last month."
"Oh well, more food for me."
Jessica laughed as she watched him eat. He looked like a little boy as he
scarfed down all his eggs and asked, "Are you going to eat that?"
"Think you ate enough?" she asked, when he was finally finished.
"Hey, I'm a growing boy, I need the nutrition."
"How do you get nutrition from bacon?"
"Well..."
"Never mind," she said, standing up, "I've got to get ready for work."
"See ya," Brian said, standing up and giving her a hug, "And don't worry
about the mess, I'll clean it up."
"Yeah, you better!" she said as she walked upstairs.
***Two Months Later***
Things had been going perfectly, or at least that's what Jessica thought.
Tonight was their two month anniversary, and she was extremely excited.
Brian had asked her to come over to his house, she wasn't sure what he had
planned, but she was sure it would be wonderful.
*beep beep* Jessica assumed it must be Kelly outside, coming to pick her up
so they could go shopping. She wanted to wear something special that night,
and she couldn't seem to find anything special enough in her wardrobe.
"Hey, Kell!" she said, as she jumped into the car.
"Hey Jess, long time no see... how've you been?"
"Good," she said.
"And Brian?"
"Tonight is our three month anniversary."
"What're you planning?"
"I'm not sure, Brian called like, five minutes ago and told me to come by at
five."
"Oo, must be something fun if you have to come over so early!"
"Well, I hope so."
*******
"So what do you think? The purple dress or the green one?"
"Hm," Kelly thought for a moment, "The green one, it matches your eyes."
"Ok, great. That didn't take too long."
"Lunch?" Kelly suggested.

When they got to the food court they found Nick, being trampled by a group
of girls.
"Hey Nick," Jessica said, "What's up?"
"OMG!" one girl let out a shriek when she saw Jessica, making her jump.
"Hey," Jessica said, trying to sound casual.
"Oh my god," she said, a little more slowly this time, "You're -- you're
B-brian's girlfriend!"
"Hey," Nick interrupted, "It was nice chatting with you girls, but I need to
talk to Jess and Kelly, privately."
When all the girls left and were finished waving, Nick turned back to Kelly
and Jessica.
"Well?" Kelly asked impatiently.
"Well, I really don't need to talk to you... oh wait! Kevin's birthday party
is next weekend, he wanted me to invite you."
"Is that it? You already told us... remember, you emailed everyone?"
"Oh yeah, oops... um, happy anniversary?"
"Thank you!" Jessica said.
After eating lunch, Kelly dropped Jessica off at her place so she could get
ready for the big night that lay ahead.
