The phone rang at 8:00 a.m. for the wake up call and I was actually glad to wake up from this restless sleep. I got in the shower and put on some make-up, to cover up those dark circles under my eyes, that I always got after night like this past one. Put I knew Sophie would see them anyway. She just knew me too good ! And I was sooo thankful for meeting her about a year ago, just shortly before I moved to Berlin to study there. We were on one wavelength from the first moment on and grew to be best friends. She had always been there for me, no matter what time of the day it was or what problem I had. She never complained when I woke her up in the middle of the night, because I had those bad dreams again ! She was the backbone I sometimes didn't have, I'd even call her lifesaver once in a while. And she'd helped me through my hard times of losing weight. She was also the one that introduced me to one of the cheerleaders of the *Berlin thunders*. That how I got startet there ! It really gave me back some ego to hear the crowd cheering us on and to find some real friends in the cheerleaders and the team !
Now I couldn't wait tot get her from the airport around noon. But before that we'd pay management an exclusive visit and do some work for the fanclub, by interviewing them and asking those questiones we never had a chance to ask .

After we'd had breakfast with teh guys and visited management, it was finally time to get the latecomers from the airport and say good bye to those who had to leave us early for the same reasons some were coming late - school or work !
The guys divided themselves into groups with us girls to get the latecomers from the different gates , after they'd said good bye to the early-leavers. Nick had joined Angie, Sigrid and me to get the ones from Germany, Italy, Denmark and Poland, cause they were all ariving at the same gate. I could make out Sophie out of the crowd right away, cause she looked stunning like always.
"Gosh, one can see you are best friends right away, you even dress alike !" Nick said when he saw Sophie. Funnily enough we really had on the same tops in babyblue and similar pants, hers in dark blue and mine in white. We both had to laugh when we saw each other. "Two minds, one thought I guess ! Hi sweetheart !" "Hi sweetpea, how was the flight ?" "Aww, just fine. We had a lot of fun together, talking about fanclub stuff, etc. ! Oh, hi Nick !" "Hi Sophie, finally you say hello to me !" "Well sorry, had to say hi to Katarina first !" "And I always thought German fans were so dedicated, that we'd always come first ! LOL ! Just kidding ! Good to hear you guys had a nice flight !" Nick gave Sophie and the others each a kiss on the cheek and then we went to our meetingpoint to wait for the others. Instead the others were already waiting for us.
"AJ, look ! You can see those two are best friends right away, cant ya ?"
"Hey, you're right Kev ! Man, that girl is cute ! Wonder if she's got a boyfriend !"
"You better be happy that I'm too good of a freind to tell Amanda about that comment of yours right there ! Ouch ! But I'm right, and you know that !"
The guys all said hello to the girls who had just gotten here and then we went back to the hotel, where they gave a little concert in the pianobar for those who hadn't been here yesterday. Sophie stayed with mee at all times and when we had a quiet minute, she asked me about those circles under my eyes. "Well, I've been dreaming bad again last night ! Things just seem to go too well right now !" "Girl, we have to take care of you fears sooner or later. You have to get that guy out of your system ! Have you seen him yet ?" "Yeah, sadly ! He's with the guys again, so I saw him yesterday ! That's probably why I had that dream again, after such a long time !" I didn't have any more time to think about that, cause Nick joined us and hugged me real tight from behind. "You girls doing some catching up ? You've only not seen each other for what ? Two days ?! GIRLS !" We both glared at him and then looked at each other : "BOYS !" LOL
After we had kunch with the guys therre was some time for relaxing, before we'd go to the movies in the evening. Angie, Sigrid, Sophie and I dicided to go to the swimming pool for a while. The guys played some b-ball with some of the girls or some pool . After a while Kevin joined us four in the pool though and we talked a little . One good thing about this fanclub-meeting-thing was that we were allowed to take pics of almost everything - LOL ! So of course we took some nice pics of Kevin in his swimming trunks ! Gosh, our friends would envy us sooo much ! But at least they'll see most of the pics and get our detailed reports.

The guys had rented a little cinema for the night, so we had all the peace we wanted to watch a nice movie with the guys. It was really a lot of fun and Nick and I never left each others side. After the movies we had a little party in the bar again. Nick and I danced a lot and Sophie was happy for me, cause she could see that I was really enjoying myself right there. She hoped it would stay that way.

"Wanna stay here for the night ?" Nick and I had gone up to his room to talk a litte, because were too tired to dance but not tired enough to go to bed yet and it was a little too loud downstairs to talk. We'd done a lot of catching up about the past two years, cause he was really intersted in my life and wanted to know everything about my studying and so on. He told me alot about himself, too. It was really interesting and I got to know about sides of Nick, that I never thought existed in the childish boy he was at times !
"Do I wanna stay the night ? I'm not sure ." "Well, I won't do anything ! I just thought we could cuddle up on the couch, talk a little more till we fall asleep !" "Oh, that sounds good to me. Okay, I'll stay here !" So we really cuddled up on the couch and when we hadn't said anything in a while, I felt his soft and even breath on my neck . He'd fallen asleep holding me tight. I turned around carefully, so I wouldn't wake him up. He looked so peaceful, with tha big smile on his lips. I wished to know what he was thinking right then !
But then my fears got back control over me. What was I doing here ? Why was I letting him get so close to me ? Did he try to tear down those walls around me ? And had he already succeeded ? I had to get out of here, before I got hurt again ! But how ? He held me so tight, at that moment I panicked so much, I felt like I couldn't breath . I tried to calm down and untangled myself from his arms. I put the blanket over him and made sure he was comfy, before I left.

"Where are ya coming from ? OMG, what's wrong ? Katarina, please talk to me !!" Sophie was confused. I came into our room, where she was just sitting with Angie, went straight to the bathroo, got into my nighty and craweled into bed without saying a word, not even good night. Sophie was worried and looked at Angie. She had the same expression on her face. "Sophie, let's go to my room. We won't get a word out of her anyhow !" Angie was worried as well as Sophie, but from Sophie's telling, it made no sence talking to Katarina in this condition.
"What do you think happened , Sophie ?"
"I have no clue ! She seemed so happy all day, I never thought she'd get into this state ! She's so scared, sometimes I don't know how to help her anymore ! She probably just left Nick and he'll wake up all confused because she's gone."
"Sophie, I really wish we could help her. But right now all we can do is support her and be there for her ! Think she'll be alright there, all alone ?"
"I'm not sure, I better go over and watch her ! Night Angie ! Let's pray she'll feel better in the morning !"
"Night sweetie, I'll do that ! See ya fro brealfast, and don't hesitate to call me to your room if you need any help !"
"Thanx Angie, I'll keep that in mind !"
Sophie left Angie, who had just wittnessed something like that for the first time and who really admired Sophie for taking this so well. She worried about her friend now. Sophie had told her about those things, but she was cared when she saw it now !
When Sophie got back into our room, which was the second room of the suit Sigrid, Angie Sophie and I were sharing, I was lying in bed, staring straight ahead and shaking all over. She got into her nighty and crawel in bed with me, keeping me company all night. What the hell was wrong with me ? Why could I not just enjoy this ? Nick was most beautiful, kind and understanding man I had met until now, wyh did I have to ruin this ? All because of a man who had taken from me what he wanted and then left me behind like any other groupie he'd had before ? Had this man ruined my life forever ?
