We had been sitting on his boat for about an hour now. Doing nothing but holding hands and watching the sky and the water and that little dolphin that had joined us out here. I really enjoyed this. He'd firstly taken my hand after his confession when I was driving. It felt sooo good ! Was it finally time to trust a man again? I wasn't sure yet, but enjoyed all this for now !

It was late when we got back. All the others were already down in the bar partying.
"Well, look who's coming there ?! Our two lost ones ! I thought you were just *going for a walk* ?"

"Well, I would have driven, but then the car wouldn't have been insured, since it's a rental !"

So I went into a quiet corner with Angie and told her what had happened . "He told ya what ?! Gosh, that is sooo cute. I bet he turned a bunch of different shades of red while doing so !" "Well, of course he did and that was just sooo cute to look at !" "So sweetie, all your doubts put aside now ?" "I don't know Angie. By the way, you little ..., you talked to Sophie !!!"
"I'm sorry .... !" "Aww, it's okay ! I was just mad at her, because she made me tell her everything, while Nick was sitting next to me, and she already knew everything from you !" Angie and I kept talking for a little while, before went over to Brian and Nick to say good night. I wanted to go call Sophie and then go to bed.
"You already wanna go to bed ? It's not even 11 p.m. yet !"
"I know Brian, but I got a long flight behind me and a lot of driving today, thanx to Mr- Carter here ! Besides, I have to go call Sophie too !"
"Aww, I see. Well, sleep tight then sweetie and sweet dreams !" He gave me a kiss on the cheek and turned to Nick to tell him good night.
"Wait, I'll get you to your room and then I'll go to bed myself, too !"
"Oh, okay Nick !"
When we got to my room door I gave Nick a kiss on the cheek and told him good night. But when I wanted to open my door, he got up all the courage he had at that moment and turned me back around to give me kiss. "Good night sweetheart !" I wanted to say something back, but when I had gotten over the first shock he was already down the corridor and in his room.

When Nick was in his room a let out a breath he hadn't even realized he was holding. He's just kissed her. Gosh did that feel good. her soft warm lips against his. That was he'd been dreaming of ever since first seeing her ! Finally !

"He what, he kissed you ?" I was on the phone with Sophie and we'd already been talking for almost an hour. She wanted to know everything now, every little detail about the past day .
"Well, he turned me around and kissed me !" "And, how did it feel ?" "Well, Sophie, what do kisses feel like ?! Good !" "Well good then ! I can't wait to see you all tomorrow and to watch this whole thing between Nick and you ! He better treats you good, or he's gonna have to face me ! LOL !" When I finally put down the receiver I fell asleep in just minutes, I was sooo tired. I had an uneasy sleep though. Bad dreams and memories very playing before my inner eye ! I saw Freddie telling me it was over, after we had just spent the night with each other. And I saw all the other guys after him, doing just about the same. They all had done this to me, until I had that wall built up around me and just stopped dating guys, until now ! After I had lost that much weight and was cheerleading now I couldn't get guys off my heels, but I didn't want them, I was just too afraid to get any feelings involved again ! Was Nick worth it, to go through that pain again ?
