After we had breakfast the next day, we all followed the instructions to the venue where they'd give the concert for us. It was a little theater type thing they had chosen and we all liked it.
When we entered all we could see were the bodyguards and some of the musicians of the band. They told us to take a seat where ever we liked to and there was still some time left before the show would start.
"Katarina, what you think they meant by that *wet surprise* ?" "Angie, I don't really know, but as I judge the guys, it's nothing nice. That's why I've chosen my dark pants and top today ! LOL"
"Think so, I mean that it's something mean ?"
"Yeap !"
While Angie and Sigrid tried to figure out what this was all about, I looked around this place a little. ... Wait, wasn't this ... no, it couldn't be!... 3 rows behind me in the far right corner there was this guy with a green hat that looked an awful lot like, .... , no!

"Q, come over here for a sec !"
"What ya want Nick, I'm busy !"
"Well, look at that girl up there. Don't you think she kinda looks like Katarina ?"
"Nick, for you almost every girl kinda looks like Katarina ! Which one you mean ?"
"The one in the tight black pants and the black top ."
"Well, it could be, she's as tanned as her and the face looks like Katarinas, but ,well, how I can I put it? I mean she's defenitly thinner than Katarina! I mean, not that she was fat, but ... !"
"I know what ya mean Q, that's why I am so unsure ! But she's got those pretty piercing green eyes Katarina has ! This would just be too good, wouldn't it ?!"
"Well, maybe you should just go up to her and ask for her name !"
"Aww, I can't just go up to her ...!"

Oh yes, it really was him ! How long had it been since I'd seen him like this ? Even with the same hat ! LOL ! It was more than 2 years ago that I'd first met him and almost 2 years since our last REAL meeting ! Gosh, did he look good ! He'd lost weight, and got even taller though ! I felt his eyes on me. Did he recognize me ? Did he even care ?

"Q, do you have the list with all the names of the girls with you ?"
"Yeah, why ?"
"Well, we could just look if the name Katarina is on there !"
"Well, a bright moment for once ! Ouch !!! Stop that ! I'll go get the list, just a sec !"
So they both started looking up and down that list when Q let out a sigh. "Nick, I found one girl named Katarina, and she's from Germany !"
"OMG, really ? What if that is her ?"
"And what if it's not ?! Will we have to deal with a little crumbled Nick over the next few days ?"
"No, but it's worth a try , isn't it ?!"
"Well, what do ya wanna do now ?"
"Do we have the list with the five girls for the waterballon-fight completed yet ?"
"No, not yet. Don't tell me you wanna put her up on that ?! Cause if it's really THE Katarina you're gonna be a dead man doing this !"
"Maybe a dead man, but a happy dead man !"
"Nick, you are totally nuts ! But if you want it that way .. !"
So Q added her name to the list and hoped for all their sake that this was really the Katarina Nick had been looking for ever since January 1998. He'd been whining a whole lot about her and he'd had a crush on her from the first minute they met. But then she had met their bassplayer Freddie and those had started going out. When those two broke up Nick had let out a sigh of relief, which could be heard by everybody around him. But he'd never seen her again after the met coincidentitally in downtown Orlando in June 1998. So now he saw his big and maybe his last chance.

"Katarina, hello ???"
"Uhm, what ?"
"Well, I've been trying to talk to you for a few minutes now ! Where have you been ?"
"Sorry, I just drifted a little away in my thoughts !"
"Dreaming about Nick, huh ?"
"Oh shush ! Well, how couldn't I think about him, when I'm in O-town and just about to see him live, plus I think he's sitting 3 rows behind us and watching us !?"
"He's whaaaat ? OMG, that is him !!! When did you notice him ?"
"Right away when I turned around a few minutes ago !"
"Why didn't you tell me earlier ?"
"Cause I didn't want you to react the way you react now ! LOL! OUCH ! Stop hitting me ! I was just kidding !"
"Sorry hun, I just can't believe this. Do you think he recognized you yet ?"
"Probably not ! Last time we met I was blonde and fat !! Even I wouldn't recognize myself if I didn't know for sure it's me ! LOL!"
"Oh stop it girl ! I've seen enough pics of you, you've always been a pretty girl ! It just suits you better that you lost so much weight and thanx to teh cheer leading you're in pretty good shape as well !"
"Thanx Angie ! But he really makes me nervous now ! I feel as if I have a hole in my back already ! He's thinking, I can feel it. Why doesn't he just come to me and ask ?!"
"Well sweetie, you know he's shy. He doesn't have the guts to do so !"
"I know, sadly !"

Q got up on stage now . "Well, before I start I want to welcome all you pretty ladies to these 4 days of a lifetime ! I hope you'll enjoy your stay, had a good flight yesterday and all got here safely ! Hope everything went alright with the rental cars, but since we didn't hear any complaints yet, I guess it did ! LOL ! Okay, now we get to this little surprise we got for you. Well, actually it's probably going to be more fun for us than for you at first, but we'll reward you for your suffering ! The suffering cntains of the following : All of us, whicj means the boys themselves, the band and the crew are going to throw ballons, filled with water at you, cause you're always having so much fun with us, now we want some with you ! I hope, we all hope you won't be too mad at us, since afterwards you'll just go backstage, get some new clothes from us and are gonna be newly dooled up ! And then you're going to sit in the VIP places, right up front ! Hope that's enough reward for you ! Okay, so we've chosen 5 names by random and we would ask you girls to please come up as your names are called !

I couldn't believe what I had just heard ! Waterballon-fight ???? Those guys must be nuts !!! Luckily I had on soem black clothes and nothing white, but what about the others ??? And I knew almost for sure, if I'd be on that list you I'd have to thank ....

"I'll try hunny ! You think he put you on there ?"
"Well, if I'm on that list it's his fault, I promise ya !"
