Bomba Blue

Bomba Blue (then 'Ocean Blue' until it was voted we sound like a chip shop!)
was formed in the summer of 1997 when MARK & pal JODY found themselves
pleasantly stranded on the Island of Zante with nothing to their names but 2
acoustic guitars & an appetite for adventure. After the rough & tumble of a
1st year literally singing for their supper they returned triumphantly the
next year & steadily built the foundations of what is now Laganas Premiere
English Rock band.

Things went a lil' strange in 1999, the guy's parted amicably in order to
travel more extensively, Jody packed his bags & toured Australia, Mark went
in search of action in the Canaries with old drinking buddy MATT. But Zante
was still calling,

2000 saw the rebirth of a new Bomba Blue, a Full line up a mutual brummie
STU on bass, a stuffed monkey SPANKY on Drums & MATT, who could not miss the
party, had learned guitar & vocals in a mere matter of months!! The year was
a great sucess & cemented the guy's reputation of Laganas hero's.

2001 saw the departure of Stu & the re-appearance of Jody, back from his
travels & welcomed back into the ranks.

2002 Seemed like business as usual until an offer was made to buy the very
bar the band used to reside in, in Laganas. Not missing such an opportunity the
bar was snatched up by Mark & Matt & now the adventure continues with a new
twist ....
