Robiny's Classroom

My name is Robin and currently I am teaching in an Independent Skills Center (ISC) classroom in Beaverton, Oregon. The ISC is a self-contained special education class for students with severe to profound developmental disabilities. Our curriculum centers around teaching independence, life skills, functional academics and communication skills. I have been teaching in this classroom for the past six years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have decided to compile some of the ideas that I have created, stolen, and sometimes improved upon.
