Our Chrissy in Australia isn't like most Christmas's around the world.
We have Bar-B-Ques and drink lots of brown ale stuff,
umm think its called beer.
We spend most of the day hunting the flies
then blobbing out under the shade of a tree after
our fantastic meal of ham, turkey, pork, lamb, prawns
and a variety of seafood , salads and baked veggies,
and that's not counting the chrissy pudd and custard,
let alone the chrissy cake and the mince pies.
Then if you are lucky you head for the beach
and hope the sharks are in a festive mood.
Just kiddin they're not that bad "looking over my shoulder".
We have games of footie and cricket and show everyone
how young we really are, then pay for it that night.
"OUCH!!"
And we must not forget to slip! slop! slap!
or you will end up lookin like a lobster.

And something for the ankle-biters.

Lookin forward to santa?
Make sure you leave something out for the reindeers,
or they might leave you something to remember them by.
A nice cold tinnie would be bonzer!!
