Ch. Shenkhan's Majik Moments

We are proud and happy to introduce Summer to the Whippet World.  Sired by Aust./NZ Ch. Sheberghan The Pilgrim (Imp. Aust), out of our lovely Majik (NZ Ch. Shenkhan Drums and Roses), and co-owned with Lauralbriar Whippets in Canada, she is just what we hoped for.  A curvy girl with correct angulation both front and rear, a beautiful topline and elegance everywhere, we have high hopes for this little girl!  Watch for her soon in the ring.

On her first trip to the ring, Summer made us very proud!  She was

Best Minor Puppy in Show

at the Whippet Club Inc. Specialty Show, September 2004, under judge Shirley Rawlings.  Summer then went on to win Best Minor Puppy in Show at the Hound Club Show on the same day!

Ms. Rawlings critique of Summer:  "Powley and Chases'  Shenkhan Majik Moments. 8 month fawn bitch of lovely type and quality. Good front with excellent shoulder flowing into topline creating a balanced outline. Plenty of width across second thigh and low set hocks. Just a little unsteady on the move but this will correct with age and experience and she should have a bright future."

Correct with age it has definately done with Summer finishing her title in October, 2006 taking Best Bitch at both Kumeu Kennel Association and the following day at Franklin Kennel Association!

AND at a very well attended show just a week later, Summer went on to win Reserve Best In Show!

We are proud at all Summer has accomplished so far and look forward to many great years with this beautiful girl!
