These photos were taken on a cold winter's day at Brittas Bay in March this year. We have just been back there in summer and it was quite a difference being able to lie and tan in the sun and swim in the sea. The advantage on this occasion though was that we had the beach virtually to ourselves and Ryan could still play happily with his bucket and spade. At times the beach reminds me of the Natal coast or parts of the Transkei Wild Coast, especially where the rivulets run into the sea.
