John and Ryan came third in the parent / child relay race at Ryan's school sports day. Ryan also came second in his class race. He is therefore now the proud owner of a silver and bronze medal! As it was the first time he had competed in anything I was glad he went away feeling as though he had achieved something. The picture with Ryan's face painted as a clown was taken on the last day of his playball camp - one of the weekly activities John arranged for him to enjoy during the very long summer holiday.

Ryan's 6th birthday in March. He had a party after school with some of his friends. As it was still winter most of the activity had to take place inside!

Two photos taken in the grounds of Malahide Castle. The playground is a wonderful place for children to play outdoors. It caters for all ages and has been designed to allow them to use their imaginations. There are forts and a 'sailing ship' tunnels to crawl through and logs to balance on. Parents picnic and sit on the lawn under the trees around the play area. There is no charge so a great way to spend a day.
