First day of school - 1 September 2003. Ryan loves school. The emphasis seems to be on having fun, but I'm amazed how much he has learnt already. They are learning how to speak Irish informally too. They greet each other in Irish and from what he comes home and tells us they do their roll-call in the classroom in Irish as well. On Thursay they go to school in their tracksuits as that is PE day. Otherwise they wear the school uniform. The pullover and tracksuit top have a tree and the name of the school sewn on them - Glenageary/Killiney National School.
